OT : Once Upon A Time In Hollywood
I saw it last night and thought it was phenomenal. I highly recommend it - Brad Pitt deserves an Oscar imo.
Cool story bro
I went to my wife's aunt's funeral last night. It was phenomenal. My wife's cousin Bob did an awesome job with his testimony of his Mom's love for family and her Roman Catholic faith.
Maybe I should make an OT thread on MGoBlog.
Nope.
It's the offseason and there is barely any content coming from the blog. What the fuck else do you want to talk about? Another preseason poll that has been discussed ad nauseam? An 11warriors post that improperly insults Michigan?
I think there are nine or more threads started today. Some are very original. All are informative to a point.
This thread is an observation. It has no meat to it. It has no information about the movie except that it stars Brad Pitt and his performance was phenomenal. What about his performance was phenomenal? What was it about the movie that the OP liked?
My parody is a true observation relating to the events of last night for me. It makes no sense to post it as a thread on MGoBlog, nor does OP's post in the form that he did it, in my opinion.
It's an OT thread, marked OT and we are in the offseason. Why is this an issue for you?

I'm fine with the OP. His post has no spoilers and that is good for those of us who haven't seen it.
Exactly...The trailers gave almost nothing away about the plot, that I felt like diving into anything not shown in the trailer was a spoiler
This was a strong rebuttal until the last parenthetical, "in my opinion." Why the clumsy hedge? It's like saying, "I believe Jesus Christ is Lord and savior of the world, but that's just my personal opinion." Huh? How do we get away with such grammar these days? Say it and mean it, or don't say it at all.
Sorry for your loss.
Thanks for your sympathy.
Where's South Quad to complete the "Quads"?
South Quad here
Are you west quad?
North Quad feels left out.
But are you concerned about Army?
I think that was Baughz.
Name checks out.
You should make an OT thread and title it “How to be a dick” since your full of knowledge and experience on the subject.
What about Margot Robbie? Damn she´s super hot!
Are you a girl who came of age in the 2000's?
Oh yeah! I forgot that it's weird for a male to like other males. Silly me. I guess it's also weird that we all have favorite sports players.
I saw it yesterday. If anyone deserves an Oscar, it's Leo. And the movie was amazing. No spoilers here. But don't bring the kids. Tons of bad language and violence. I mean, it's Tarantino.
I took a big healthy shit this morning
took? or left?
just trying to clarify
One of the great debates in history. Everyone takes a shit or piss. Should be I just left a huge dump in the toilet. Or just released a pee. You don't take it!
On a funny note, out of shear desperation, recently had a to "leave" a huge dump in a porta pisser. Horrific on a 90 + day at baseball complex. However, the sight of a mom going in same porta pisser about 2 minutes later provided the laugh of the day.
I could give a shit. /s
No shit?
Man, I wish I'd said that!
She suffered much more than you.
Should've been covered by the Geneva Convention for cruel punishment. Still, was incredibly funny.
Stop, thief !!!!!
Going to see it tonight
Thanks for heads up. Will add to my list of movies to see
I have been waiting for this movie since it was announced. Looks great !
Me too. I haven't been this excited for a movie maybe ever, and it didn't disappoint.
it's almost Shark Week......
Shark week happens monthly around my house but I preemptively stock up on feminine products and chocolates to help the wifey through.
well played......
Was it?
Live every week like it's shark week Liz Lemon.
I saw it last night too and I loved it. Pitt was awesome, Leo was great and Q nailed the rest of the casting. It was perfect.
Slow burn as per usual with Tarantino films but it makes for an absolutely amazing third act. I guarantee you'll laugh your ass off and cheer as it happens. An ending for the ages.
I will probably see it again as there was so much going on that I'm sure I missed some details.
Definitely have to watch his films multiple times to pick up on the nuance.
I haven't seen it yet, but all the comments seem to be accurate given the ratings (it's on pace to settle into IMDB's all-time top 25, if not top 10).
Lion King Remake: Worth going to see with the kids?
I don’t know I’ve haven’t seen it.
Absolutely worth it. The kids will love it and visually it is stunning. Seth Rogan does a great Pumbaa too.
