This draft is actually a pretty entertaining draft. soo many trades
Tampa bay got screwed over big time. They thought Claiborne was gonna be there and the cowboys stole their guy from under their nose
He is this year's Christian Ponder - the QB a notch below the elite guys in the draft that some team is going to talk themselves into drafting a round earlier than his actual value.
Tannehill...wow, just wow. He is not a NFL quarterback.
He reminds me more of Blaine Gabbert, but they all fit that extremely over valued, third wheel QB description.
LOL at the Bucs. The Cowboys jumped all over that one, and then they compounded it by reaching for Barron.
So much for Barron going in the 12-14 range.
We should've taken Kuechly.
I just realized we cut Tanard Jackson so we do need a safety. And I just read that the Bucs weren't as sold on Claiborne as everyone thought.
I cannot believe the Phins are even considering taking him.
He is at best a backup. He wasn't good enough to start consistently at AM who did not exactly have a boatload of elite QB talent in front of him. Why do the Phins think this guy will magically transform at the next level??? Strange.
They just showed Stephen Ross on NFL Network and Rich Eisen gave him a loud couple "Go Blue!"s.
but Tannehill seems like a good bet for a bust
He looks and feels a lot like Blaine Gabbert. Mobile QB with a all of the physical tools, but has a lot of questions about decision making making, accuracy, and understanding of the position. Also in that they both had no business being drafted as highly as they were, but in a league where the QB position is so highly valued, it happens.
If Henne gets the starting spot, he's got a pretty respectable target to throw too.
This had been an exciting draft, but they really need to stop showing the behind the scenes shots... kills all the suspense.
Now that Inge is available the Lions should take him round 2
It's a part of the reason I love college football so much (though both were good when I started watching football; the LOVE for Michigan has grown with the aid of Miami being a s**thole for an NFL team). Cheers to Ryan Tannehill. Good for him. But man, he is not the next Dan the Man.
Ryan Tannehill will win rookie of the year. BOOK IT!
I'm hoping to get picked up by a team late. I'm 5'11, 190 and I have lots of intangibles. Also, I can throw a football so by being a QB I can probably automatically get drafted 2-4 rounds higher than I should.
I can also play placeholder
Well, unless the Lions go up and get Dre Kirkpatrick, I'm guessing they trade out of the 1st round.
He hasn't ever really been in a position to trade down.
the Lions draft Terry Fair. We could use a solid corner.
Lol at everyone complaining about Schefter ruining the draft.
I hope the Lions take Cordy Glenn
The first round used to be unwatchable.
Perfect DB for Schwartz. Big and physical. He is just what the Lions need.(crosses fingers)
Biggest surprise was clearly Luck going 1.
