OT: Nevada RB transferring to Iowa
Nevada RB, James Butler, is transferring to Iowa. This is significant because he ran for over 1000 yards in back to back seasons. This also gives Iowa a great 1-2 punch at RB with Wadley starting ahead of them. This may or may not affect the B1G West conference race considering that Wisconsin will be a heavy favorite to win it.
James Butler transferring to #Iowa is an absolute stunner. He'd have been a top-10 fantasy RB at #Nevada. pic.twitter.com/UBCCQpZoLp

Isn't that the truth..
That is true. Shame we don't play them until 2019. Starting to see to many of their fans talking shit and what was their record last year?.
considering Akrum Wadley ran all over Michigan defense last year with 23 carries for 115 yards for 5 ypc and caught 5 times for 52 yards with 1 TD catch.
Maybe, but I think a lot will depend on which yard line in opposing territory that Ferentz will decide is still punt territory. I think I would put my money on the ten this year, as he does like to try and win field position by pinning you back in the lower mezzanine of the stadium.
And they'll pull one upset that will make Ferentz's agent start some NFL rumors to get another 10-year contract.
Every year feels like a typical 8-4 year for Ferentz.
Until they surprise.
Kind of disappointed about that, to tell the truth. We've had a bad habit of falling to very shitty Iowa teams in both football and basketball the last few years and it's gotten REALLY old. They need to get their asses beat badly.
It's weird that we're not playing them this year. Such is life for your schedule when your conference has 16 teams. After a two year break, we play them once and then they're immediately off the schedule again.
This would have been an easy 20 point victory if Wilton would have hit a couple of the 1st qtr bombs. Instead we'll have to live with Didiabeatus.
Seems like an odd choice at a glance as he only has one year left and Wadley has skillz. Also, he obviously did not fear the wrath of AIRBHG. So good luck with that man.
I hope he won't be wearing #33.
He's from Illinois and may be trying to get back close to home and Nevada has a new coach he may not like very much. He's a good, tough inside runner who will fit well in Iowa's system. Not a game changer but a nice addition for them.
in the state of Nevada!
Until proven otherwise . . .
