OT - NC License Plate

Submitted by Brady2Terrell on November 16th, 2022 at 9:17 AM

I can get a UM-themed license plate in North Carolina.  The plate allows me to select a four-character (numbers/letters) customer plate.  What's the best four-character plate for me to pursue here that may still be available?  #Crowdsourcing #GoBlue

I'm in NC and got a personalized UofM plate a few years ago.  Everything is taken.  Very hard to find any combination of letters to get anything meaningful.  I ended up with UM but some people are like Ummm?

By the way, I have a personalized NC plate myself (not the M one you are talking about, a standard plate) and it reads -- GEAUXBLU.  My wife is an LSU alum and I felt there was some synergy there with our relationship, right or wrong.

Since you are in North Carolina you probably need to be basketball themed for anyone to “get it”.
As much as I would love to suggest FAB5, you will forever have to listen to the local yokels yelling “Time out” at you.

A direct shot at Hubert Davis would be:

25>40

If you want to target Duke fans:

25>30

Important to know if it's like the Michigan one with the block M first - gives a lot more options. But if not maybe MGOB or MGBL (M go blue), HTTV, MICH, GBLU, B1GM maybe for the conference. MCLB (for the M club on the banner), MABL or MBLU(maize and blue).

Hey Brady2Terrell.

I lived in NC (back in MICH now) and know of the plate you are mentioning.

The Greensboro M alumni group I was a part of is a huge proponent of that M plate.

The Bloggers’ suggestions are all good. Personally, I’d get a vanity plate for NC with up to 8 characters (ref. my MGoBlog ID).

Good luck.  If you stay with 4, I’d do 1000 for M being the first team to win that many games.
