I'm with you there. I can't root for anything in Ohio. Go Warriors. If they lose, their 73 wins means nothing. I think they light it up tonight and Kyrie and Lebron cool off a bit from the field. Tristan Thompson will not look like Wilt Chamberlain tonight either.
I am with you as I want the Warriors to win as lbj is a HUGE THEE ohio fan and it is the Worst State Ever.
However, just remember a lot of great Wolverines were smart enough to come up north and do themselves and us proud - like MGrowOld, Woodson, Howard, Ray, and many others.

The way the playoffs have been so far, a blowout for the Warriors is probably the most likely outcome. I'd love to see that.
Poor Cleveland. The Lions may suck historically, but the Red Wings have many recent cups, and there have been 2 strong Tiger teams in my lifetime. But Cleveland? Nothing since '48. It's sad, really.

Browns won several in the 50's and early 60's, with the last one coming in '64. Obviously, that's still a long time ago. But it's not '48.

So much talent to not win the Series. But that's the Cleveland narrative too--their best teams just haven't been good enough.
I didn't think they would win! I'm happy for LeBron and Cleveland. By contrast, I hope the Cubs lose in the divisional round of the playoffs.
For the Cavs, they've found the winning recipe, and that is beast mode LeBron where he's attacking the hoop with primary intention to shoot first, pass second. Need Irving to make his shots (obviously) but the obvious needs to be said because he's a chucker and eats possessions so cavs just gotta pray his shots go in. TT needs to dominate the glass as he's done. If JR could finally lay the pipe as he's done in previous series (and it's not like the defense on him has been that much more intense), that would help. On the other side, they need to continue their stifling defense and frustrate curry off the ball.

Given that I live in the bay area, I am obviously a warriors fan. With a win tonight, Ill never be happier than seeing depressed OSU-loving lebron going back to Cleveland without a championship. Watching ohio teams lose is so satisfactory in general, would be even more special if the warriors won game 7.

All I will say is that I still would like to see the Warriors start something in the way of a dynasty, and it would be kind of amusing to see "Believeland" get a fitting epilogue, another instance of Cleveland being right there, and yet....well, you know. Alternatively, the stream of jokes and Crying Jordan photoshops if the Warriors somehow blow what was once a 3-1 lead in the series would be rather epic.
