How does the Huracan handle snow? One potential reason UM is trailing in NIL is our millionaires are smart enough with their money to realize giving it to a 21 year old is a bad investment. At least if you give it to the Athletic Department they name something after you.

Not as cool to say I donated the David L. And Sarah Smith family AP Royal Oak with aftermarket diamonds to Shadure Sanders.

It’s particularly good if you don’t own property like students usually don’t. I’ve seen a few clients get excited for no income taxes only to see it evened out by higher property taxes, insurance, sales tax and personal taxes.  If you make 7 or 8 figures, it works out well. If you are average it can be a wash.

I read an article recently that a small exotic car manufacturer headquartered in Sant’Agata Bolognese, Italy is adding a second and third shift to their manufacturing and assembly operations.

There was a footnote in the article that the manufacturer had reached an agreement with two football leagues recently which drove the demand.   Most people suspected the leagues causing the surge in demand were the English Premier League (EPL) and La Liga - two leading soccer leagues in Europe.

Further discovery indicates that European soccer leagues were NOT the reason for increased demand.  Instead two “American football” groups were involved - the spokesman who commented on the condition of anonymity said - “These are private organizations - and, are known as the “SEC” and “ACC”.   I heard them say..”Lamborghinis just mean more”.  We look forward to this relationship and hope we can meet their expectations.”

I agree with the poster in the reddit thread arguing that this is a wholesome application of the NIL concept.  A player uses the brand value of himself and drives a product around town as a means for the seller to sell more of that product.  It's just shocking to us because it hasn't happened much before with a Lamborghini.

The real story here is that Bond, who literally does the James Bond pose after scoring a TD, was set up with a Lamborghini instead of an Aston Martin, when the opportunity is there.  Up your game Texas!

I’m still struggling with something.  The Ole Miss JuCo transfer drove to his signing ceremony in a Lamborghini.

How can that not be Pay for Play?  He hadn’t yet signed - and is driving the Lambo.

And this is what CFB has become...this UM is probably the last of its kind...with a culture made up of non-mercenaries.

I can imagine a culture/transformational guy like Harbaugh not wanting anything to do with this even as an advocate for player compensation.  Its HAS to have structure and enforceable rules otherwise its going to be a mess trying manage and coach a bunch of mercenaries.

This is gross unbeveled pursuit of bling.

This old man here is yelling at superficial, materialistic American youth, sorry. Neg away.

If I wanted to drive an exotic, Lamborghini would come in sixth on my list of brands I would consider.  Emphasis there is on DRIVING not on being seen.

Just wait… if Kirby thinks it will help recruiting - they’ll relocated the Atlanta Lamborghini showroom to campus.

I think the “tour” - after a prospect lands at the Atlanta airport | already stops by the Lambo dealership for a quick “walk through” before going to Athens.
