OT - Happy Mother's Day
I am going to wake her up while still in bed by playing a song on my out of tune guitar. It is at that point she will throw something at me and tell me to get the hell out of her room.
I love you Mom.
The plan today is a catered lunch for my wife, her mom, my mom and a few others, and being that I am the only husband among them with skills in the kitchen, I guess I should probably get started in there with the spinach and feta cheese quinoa that I promised everyone. Later on, I shall be making the wife cilantro lime chicken with rice and black beans and helping the kids present their rather sizeable homemade cards to their mother.

Couldn't find this anywhere on the site so sorry if this is redundant, but Rothstein does a story about Eso Akunne and the loss of his mother after his sophomore year. The kid really is something else and it's a great reminder to appreciate the people in your life.

I'm making lots of food today for my ex-wife (baby momma) and my new wife, now pregnant with child. Its kind of odd, but the two are bwesties. So I don't really fight it.
to finally move out of my mothers basement and live in my van down by the river. It's what she has always wanted me to do - she will finally get her wish.
Now, young man what do ya wanna do with your life?

Mom passed away this year. I've never wanted to celebrate the holiday more. Tell your mothers all those things you're thinking ~ things you know she'd like to hear.
Sorry for your loss
It's the first Mother's Day w/o my mom as she passed away on 9/8/11. That was my 1 month wedding anniversary. This morning my wife made ME breakfast in bed; so I will spend today remembering my mom and thanking my wife's for making her so special.
Wife in South Bend is expecting our first.
She's due the day after the Michigan-Ohio game this year, so if I duck out of the LiveBlog suddenly, don't be mad.
