So begins what is expected to be the most lopsided finals in a couple decades.

Garbage call. Where were those refs when MSU had nine penalties at the end of that shitty game three years ago or when cardel Barrett was short? Or whatever that qb that couldn’t passes name was.

This games got all the elements. Heroics, questionable calls, questionable decisions, good coaching. Not surprised that the NBA ratings are doing so well.

I love basketball but NBA is hard to watch. Just ZERO consistency on the officiating and guys take TONS of bad shots. Basketball is by far the biggest difference between college and pro in any sport. It’s like it’s 2 different sports!

Ok, I’ll let it slide on the shots. You think nba officiating is better than college? Wow. We significantly differ. Sometimes college gets into lots of free throws, but it’s called consistently and players need to adapt. Just boring to watch when that happens. NBA, no clue what a foul is or isn’t.

for the NBA refs, that is their job.  They aren't working another job the rest of the year like college refs.  No one's going to be perfect but man, if these are the best the NBA can trot out to ref the Finals, it doesn't say much about the NBA refs that were sitting at home tonight.

These refs are insane.  It's just incompetence more than anything else, but if there is some grand conspiracy and they want GSW to win this game, just give it to them.  Don't waste all of our nights with more basketball.

The missed FT/JR Smith blunder feels like a monster momentum swing.  Cleveland had a golden opportunity to steal away home court there, and might not get another shot like this.

I remember Nick Anderson bricking a bunch of FTs in game 1 of the Orlando-Houston series back in the '90s.  Orlando had that game all but wrapped and then he kept missing FTs to keep Houston alive.  Houston won, and went on to sweep.
