Missouri with a huge turnaround ending the season at 7-5

Got into a shootout with FCS Missouri Stat initially, then looked like honestly the worst P5 team for a few weeks there, then finished the season with a number of blowout wins in the SEC and served as embattled SEC coach executioner. Weird

WTF was he thinking going there in the first place?

It's hilarious that three of the sec coaches who took jabs at Harbaugh over twitter or in interviews all got canned this year. Fucking losers. I believe Saban kind of did the same right? He might not be going anywhere though unless that program is finally busted for their under the table dealings. I'd love to have the discussion with the person or people who are naive enough to believe that program has been clean this whole time. Give me a break.

It's not about how you fall...
It's about how you get up.

It might be good for his health to get out of Fayetteville. That Arkansas barbecue must have been too much to resist.

Bielema ditches them overnight just so he can go to the SEC, he becomes the SEC’s whipping boy, puts on 400 lbs and gets run out of town. Meanwhile, Wisconsin doesn’t miss a beat without him and is in position to make the playoff.
Can’t imagine they miss him one bit.

Luckily for him he still has a hot wife to hop onto... er hop on the plane with his wife.

I was at the Arkansas-Mizzou game today (wife is a UA alum, family still in the area). Nobody is very surprised by the firing, although it was a bit of a surprise that he wasn't even allowed to give his post game presser. My BIL says that a lot of folks think Gus Malzahn is the natural choice, he has ties to the state, and it would be a homecoming for him. I don't think he'll leave a top ten program at Auburn to take over at Arkansas, but maybe he wants a lower pressure job?
Whoever the next coach is, they've got a lot of rebuilding to do.

is hired by Florida, poor NE will have to take Bielema

I don't see Jimmy returning to Arkansas.

these coaches were successfull in there previous stops and abandoned what they buildt for what they thought were greener pastures. The reality is when anyone takes a new job, you don't know what your walking into. The politics, competition, and countless other variables effect the product on the field. Just ask Rich Rod.
