OT - Bama QB Blake Barnett to transfer
Per AL.com via cbssports.com, Bama QB Blake Barnett, who started the Tide's opener before ceding his job to Jalen Hurts, will pursue a transfer.
He will have to sit out a year and have three years of eligibility remaining. The former 5-star 2015 recruit had a Michigan offer.
Though the position is deep, I'm guessing there would be interest from Harbaugh and company just because he is an outstanding talent. Given that he's leaving Bama because he lost his job, he may want a more clear cut path to starting than the 8-headed battle in Ann Arbor may provide.
