OT: Baltimore high school football fight leads to teams' suspensions from state playoffs
Title is subject -- Baltimore high school football fight leads to teams' suspensions from state playoffs. Do any of our recruiting prognosticators know if Mel has offered any of these players?!

Don’t know. But I read Mel and MSU are going after Dante Moore since their QB decommitted.

That coach in the camo is soft AF. If you are gonna talk shit like that you can't be that much of a bitch.

I LOL'd at cammo going all swole only for the fat dude (who wasn't doing a damn thing) to put him on his back,

Emotional control is like common sense - it is becoming less common than it should be. We are seeing it everywhere.

I’m reading on Twitter that State had a qb decommit tonight. Now they think they will flip Dante Moore. Alrighty then
November 2nd, 2022 at 9:39 PM ^
Not sure anyone actually expects that. But yes, they're apparently going to try.
November 2nd, 2022 at 9:39 PM ^
Quick look but I didn’t see a QB commit for MSU in ‘23 or ‘24. Curious what are you seeing?
edit: Sorry, I’m a dope. Goggle still works. The kid from Lake Travis.
November 2nd, 2022 at 9:47 PM ^
I’ve heard this too. Why would anyone want to commit to msu now?!? They’ve really lost it!
November 2nd, 2022 at 9:17 PM ^
I propose that MSU be suspended from the play- ... oh yeah, never mind.
November 2nd, 2022 at 9:22 PM ^
Yeah, the program should probably be given a time out.
Or like I said previously do like FIFA does and their next home game should be spectatorless.
But the B1G won't go that far. Too much money at stake.
November 2nd, 2022 at 9:29 PM ^
(It was actually a joke about them being 3-5.)
November 2nd, 2022 at 9:32 PM ^
Oh no... I got it. :)
Sorry if my transition to something a little more serious got lost in translation.
November 2nd, 2022 at 10:28 PM ^
At 3-5, I'm guessing they already pretty much have a self-imposed spectator ban.

Was there a single tunnel involved? I’ve been told that people can’t control themselves in a single tunnel and that assaults should be dismissed. Surely, this couldn’t happen outside of a single tunnel.
November 2nd, 2022 at 9:25 PM ^
I haven't seen behavior this bad in a tunnel since Die Hard III
November 2nd, 2022 at 10:32 PM ^
Maybe they need two fields as well.

tuck comin (to recruit you for your helmet-swinging skills)
November 2nd, 2022 at 9:37 PM ^
Looks like the adults got the fight started...completely let their kids down. This behavior is ridiculous.
November 2nd, 2022 at 9:52 PM ^
yes totally on the adults, too bad, the work their kids put in to throw it away like that horrible.

It’s worth repeating!

Looks like the adults let them down.
November 3rd, 2022 at 8:42 AM ^
Are we at a point when we need to redefine the term "adult," disregard years on the planet as some kind of qualification? Feels like it.
November 2nd, 2022 at 9:52 PM ^
Dang kids...... Learning from the best.
November 2nd, 2022 at 9:55 PM ^
I wonder how many of those kids are MSU recruits.
November 2nd, 2022 at 10:41 PM ^
I have a good feeling that Michigan State will not be allowed to participate in the playoffs after Saturday's assault.
November 2nd, 2022 at 10:42 PM ^
One dude in a black uniform swung a helmet —- so yes he should face some trouble.
But otherwise, the players look pretty well behaved here. This really sucks for them —- they now both miss the playoffs because their coaches aren’t good role models.
November 2nd, 2022 at 11:14 PM ^
if that video is as bad as it got then suspending those teams was absolutely the wrong decision. the players were largely either jawing or simply walling-off and saying calm down. the adults (coaches? parents?) were the ones who screwed up and even that was only camo guy trying to take down the stay-puft marshmallow guy.
November 2nd, 2022 at 11:48 PM ^
Agreed. I thought this was de-escalated pretty well by the players themselves. That should not be held against them.
This could have been far far worse. We have had some all-out high school footballs brawls here in Maryland this year that included fans as well.
November 3rd, 2022 at 8:36 AM ^
Very selfish by the adults to let their emotions completely overtake them.
November 3rd, 2022 at 9:21 AM ^
City vs poly is the oldest public high school rivalry in the country and the two best academic high schools.
November 3rd, 2022 at 12:14 PM ^
Poor kids. It was the adults that caused that (and I use the term 'adults' generously).
Also, camo guy wants to pick a fight and literally goes down immediately. Nice work tough guy
