OSU vs. Wisconsin: Rivalry dilemma

So where does your loyalty lie? Do you want OSU to be undefeated when we play them? OR Is it so against your nature that you can't root for OSU at all tonight?

I know that it's unpopular on here to say this but I like Wisconsin, Nebraska, Northwestern and a few others. I think that at the very least it's because I've had positive interactions with their fanbase.

but they will anyway. Plus, if we lost to them as a 1 loss team our playoff hopes are gone - 100%. If we lost to them as two undefeated teams and it was close our chances may still be alive. Even if slim they wouldn't be absolutely gone.

It helps to have OSU undefeated for our resume so no one else jumps us in the polls. A 2 loss OSU crushes our strength of schedule because the B10 seems down, outside of us and Wisky. And also, do we want to face Wisconsin again in the B10 championship game? I don't.

there are four B1G teams in the Top 10 and Wisconsin didn't leave the the Top 10 after losing to Michigan. So, that means pollsters are impressed with their resume, which means a loss tonight by the Buckeyes would place Michigan in a stronger poll position just because of the schedule comparison regardless of the outcome. But the Wolverines need to move up just to ensure that if they were to go undefeated heading into their final gqame, that the statkes are just as hight but the fall would for the loser would be shorter and possibly not out of the Final Four. So, a Wisconisn win is a good thing while a close loss will also alter the perception about Michigan.

People seriously want OSU to win? The fuck? You're over thinking it. Whether or not Ohio has a loss or not, if win that game and the BIG championship we're in the playoffs. And if we lose, we're out. And if OSU happens to lose twice we can lose the game and still make the BIG championship.

The great Herbstreit - "Who was the QB on that 2003 Michigan team?" Bear - "Navarre?" Herby - "No, not Navarre... was it?" Way to ask a "bonus trivia question" you have no idea the answer to....buckeye Mo-ran

If our offense could just find some consistency like Wilton not looking rattled all the time and make easy throws I think we have a good shot

Even setting aside hatred for putrid OSU, they are in our division so it helps us for them to lose. Not to mention a Wisconsin win helps our SOS right now.

We need to win regardless. I'd rather OSU be undefeated. Plus, I'd rather not play Wisconsin again in the B1G title game. That said, first half almost over, I'm delighted with what I've seen. It's a multiple positive: 1. OSU can be seriously slowed by a quality D 2. Our similarly sluggish offensive performance doesn't look bad, suggesting some of my pessimism might not be warranted. 3. Wisconsin looks way better on offense than they did against us. Good sign for our D. I'd like OSU to edge them out here, but I am extremely encouraged about our chances here.
