OSU presser at 8:50

Submitted by WorldwideTJRob on

Apparently Urban, Gene Smith, Mary Jo White and President Drake will be present. Likely means he’s staying.

If all are present then yeah, He’s staying. If that’s true, then was this whole thing just a facade to say “hey, we talked and debated forever but ultimately we said that he’s good to go”

They sat around all day to make it sound like it was a serious discussion. I'm sure they were high fiving all day behind closed doors. Now they will come out and try to announce this farce with a straight face.

can i get odds on whether any of them will shed tears of 'remorse' or 'relief'?   who wants some action on that?

How in the hell did it take all day just to not fire him? The whole thing was a huge waste of time and money.

Urban's only comment is going to be, "See, I told all y'all bitches you can't fire me!" He will then drop the mic and exit stage left.

This is the most buckeye thing ever. DV aside, how osu has handled this is hilarious.

Zack Smith is the personification of buckeye nation, except for the college degree part

I have this outside suspicion and hope that Drake stood firm in the meeting and with the BOT and said this is not acceptable and change is needed.   We shall see.

What did Don Canham use to say? Something like, 'always turn a one-day story into a two week story and have the press conference at bedtime"? Or something like that, lol

Good. Let this bad karma haunt them forever. Hopefully more stories break throughout the season. Meyer's low character has been revealed multiple times and will be again.

Ain't over till it's over. Let's see how tough they stand when they get abused by the other 49 states for such a weak penalty. I want to know what Drake will say in the next week, as well as their faculty in general. I don't think the storm has passed OSU by any stretch of the imagination.
