OSU leads #2 Purdue at Halftime
35-30 OSU at the half
Hopefully this thread will jinx them. Purdue is currently projected as the #1 overall seed.

Shades of Michigan at Purdue 1996 when PU fired their football HC (Jim Coletto) but, in this case, let him coach out the season. A 7-1 #9 UM team at 2-6 Purdon't and we crap the bed on offense and lose 9-3.
Weird crap CAN happen when a coach is fired during the season, even if allowed to finish the job. However, as some writer said about this generationally poor UM squad, even Coach K couldn't save this team.

Good lord, I was only two at the time, but wow, I honestly never went back and looked at the results from that season. Put up 3 points against Purdue after putting up 45 on MSU the previous week and 44 against Minnesota the week before...just...wow. Imagine the internet meltdown if something like that happened in this day and age.

I wonder if anyone from an OSU board would have posted a topic of Michigan beating Purdue at halftime? Sometimes I sense the OSU fanbase hates Michigan a lot more than the Michigan fanbase hates OSU.
