I shall be there as well. As I get the house to myself this weekend, this seems like a great way to get a little Michigan football in some form and only need to worry about what damage the pets have done when I return.

Both practices, today & next Saturday will be free and no tickets needed for entry.

The parking lots owned by Michigan and will be free and Pioneer High School will also be available with free parking.

We were going to plan on today as early on, it sounded more like a situation where you may have been able to interact with the players a little bit. Our grandkids would have loved it. Now it sounds like more of a light practice.

I’m thinking we are going to wait til next week and go to the Spring Game. Bummer because today’s weather is going to be perfect. Next week, maybe not so much. We’ll see.

Either way, I’m ready for some M football. Go Blue!

Helmets only no pads.  I love Michigan football, but it seems to have gotten less fan friendly since that guy who wasn't a Michigan man was fired.  Fan day gone (kids loved getting to meet the players and get autographs), alumni game before spring game gone, but it is nice to be winning again.

I'm at my withdrawal point and would love a fix of Maize and Blue football, but I just can't bring myself to drive the hour plus to see a glorified walk through.

As a heads up, Pioneer is not free parking for the spring game.

I'm taking my daughter to the women's gymnastics NCAA regional meet today.  Might need to get to town early and watch some Spring practice.  Does anyone know how long it runs?

It's kind of crazy in Ann Arbor today. All the frats are setting up for big parties and the Hash Bash has a bunch of Wooks in town. Definitely an interesting scene.

They're a special subset of hippies who are much dirtier and do a lot more drugs. And generally provide nothing to society. Common at music festivals.

Sounds about right. I remember walking down South U after Hash Bash had ended my sophomore year and I saw some of the most disgusting forms of life walking around looking for food. People who looked and smelled like they hadn’t showered in weeks, who hadn’t seen the inside of a barber shop in decades, and probably had no form of steady income beyond a welfare check.

I have absolutely nothing against weed, but some of the people who attend these kinds of events are nothing more than big mouthbreathing wastes of space.

Unless the scout team offense and the scout team defense are in formations and showing tendencies that reflect an Ohio State game plan against Michigan, I do not care.

I can confirm that Dwumfour is practicing with the rest of the D line. They aren't in full pass, but he is doing everything the rest of the guys are doing.

Edit:I take that back, they are currently pushing the sled, and he is walking with the group but not paying the sled.
