Gotta disagree with the OP, only because as a Tech grad/Michigan fan, I want to avoid contests between the two as much as possible. The only time it happened while I was in school was the B10/ACC challenge in the 04-05 season (Tech won by like 50, it was hard to watch). They've been in the same baseball regional but didn't play each other.
I love seeing Indiana come to Crisler. Especially during the Amaker years.
But, thats probably not want the O.P. is getting at.
I love the Texas idea. I also think Syracuse would be fun. Kentucky would be a blast. Gonzaga would be fun.
