Finally! (Though it looks much better with white socks.)

By the way, in the Bruce Feldman Athletic article from a couple of days ago, Feldman reported that the players choose the color combos each week:

“It was giving the players more of a say-so even with the small things,” [Josh] Ross said, noting the songs the players chose to mark their emergence from the Michigan Stadium tunnel, the color scheme of the jerseys and the Cartier sunglasses the 2022 team hands out as a sideline prop to any player who comes up with a takeaway.

“In years past, that would never have happened, and that has allowed the players to have more of an effect on the culture while working our butts off. We’ve had a leadership council in the past, but last year was the first year where it was more of an open table like what we felt would make the team better, things funner."

Meh. I think it looks terrible with white socks. I prefer the blue jersey/blue pants combo with all maize accessories. The only look I can't stand is the white socks with maize pants. The socks end up looking dirty and sometimes yellowish. Looks sloppy.

The best uniforms in college football.

I began as a skeptic of the maize accessories bit and I don’t think they work in all situations but they looked good the one time the team wore this combo earlier this year.

I love our all-Maize look but its more a September item.

I also always loved out all-white 1974s, we finally validated them on 11/26/22.

Regardless, we have the best uniforms on the planet.

Have to think it's no coincidence that these are the same uni's that we wore for Maryland - which was the Meechie game. Man that gameday segment has me in tears.
