I freely admit that I'm easily amused, but I find myself looking forward to those Fansville Dr. Pepper commercials.  The one question I have is whether being a Tech fan is a recessive gene because if not, someone needs a paternity test kit.

Oh, and nice touchdown by Kent State.

EDIT:

And the onside kick works.

Troy is getting screwed by the refs. The INT was a 50/50 catch that should have gone to the offense. That was a fumble by Nebraska and refs compounded the error by flagging Troy Trojans of Troy head coach.

Troy might still win because Nebraska is awful.

Nebraska safety celebrated a 5 yard gain by Troy. Safety should have been tossed for targeting.

Kent State just got a penalty against PSU for pushing McSorely out of bounds while he was still inbounds and carrying the ball. Announcing crew takes PSU's side. Good to know reffing and announcing crews for this sport are still fucking garbage.

Refs help Nebraska out three times in five plays and they still turn the ball over twice in two possessions. I know it's their backup QB, but Frost looks like he subscribes to the Brady Hoke school of thought of "run your QB until they die". Bunch is getting hammered and they're still running him and rolling him out. If your players are getting beaten up at home against Colorado and frigging Troy, what's gonna happen when you play in Ann Arbor and in Columbus this season? Gonna be a long year for the Cornsuckers

Wow, nice TD punt return by Troy.  I saw one guy setting up a terrible block in the back but he pulled up just in time and nicely walled off the guy.

Ooof, pretty cheap shot by Kent State defender on McSorley.  He went low on him well after he handed on the read.  Nothing caleld and the guy didn't have his heart really in it, but something to watch if Kent state is going to lose its cool as a team.

BTW, KSU can't stop Penn State, and the KSU left tackle is having a miserable day.

So 2 of our next 3 opponents, Nebraska and Maryland, both looking bad early. Nebraska will either be starting this walk-on QB or a true freshman coming off injury in his first career road game with less than 1 career game played against us.
