GO BLUE......
September 1st, 2018 at 12:05 PM ^
Texas Tech D is back to it's full glory.
September 1st, 2018 at 12:07 PM ^
Not a good start for them at all. Special teams starting off on the wrong foot, too.
September 1st, 2018 at 12:05 PM ^
Home game for Texas
September 1st, 2018 at 12:06 PM ^
Nice suspension for Urban Meyer....He can start coaching in practice starting tomorrow? BS, shouldn't a three game suspension be three full weeks?? Call me crazy.
September 1st, 2018 at 12:07 PM ^
You're not crazy.
September 1st, 2018 at 12:08 PM ^
Yeah...it wasn't even a "slap on the wrist."
September 1st, 2018 at 12:24 PM ^
The OSU D is not looking very stout against the Beavers pass or run attacks.
September 1st, 2018 at 1:45 PM ^
I totally agree with you.
September 1st, 2018 at 12:07 PM ^
Texas State v. Rutgers, clearly, is what the first full college football Saturday is all about.
September 1st, 2018 at 12:10 PM ^
First real easy use of that new fair catch rule that I've seen.
Man, these kickoffs are going to be boring.
Upside: Could cause kickoff teams to become lax if it gets used a lot, so a surprise return could be dangerous if used sparingly.
September 1st, 2018 at 12:17 PM ^
Why not practice squibbing kickoffs to avoid the fair catch option?
September 1st, 2018 at 1:03 PM ^
This is an interesting idea and I wouldn’t be surprised to see a team try this out at some point. Hang time is important, though, so it might not really work.
September 1st, 2018 at 1:39 PM ^
But doesn’t the decrease in speed from the bounce(s) make up for the lack of hang time at all?
September 1st, 2018 at 12:10 PM ^
WR for Texas Tech just had an insane catch. It'll be number 1 on sportscenter top 10
September 1st, 2018 at 12:11 PM ^
I hate the new fair catch rule on kickoffs. Why even have kickoffs anymore?
They are just excuses for more commercials at this point.
September 1st, 2018 at 12:19 PM ^
I was just going to say, the best part about college football is watching a million commercials.
September 1st, 2018 at 1:19 PM ^
I'm still in shock this is happening.
September 1st, 2018 at 12:11 PM ^
Texas remains baffled by Maryland.
September 1st, 2018 at 12:11 PM ^
I don't see me watching too much of this OSU/OSU game. The Bucks are not going to go neck and neck all game long and need a last minute interception to win like MSU did last night.
September 1st, 2018 at 12:14 PM ^
Well, they were 38.5 point favorites for a reason. OSU (the West coast one) just ain't a good team.
September 1st, 2018 at 12:18 PM ^
The program is cratering. Gary Andersen left Wisconsin, rather unexpectedly, to go coach them. Presumably to get out from under the gaze of Barry Alvarez. But he was such a disaster at OSU that he voluntarily resigned because he did such a bad job there. It was bizarre--he looked like a really promising coach until that move.
September 1st, 2018 at 12:18 PM ^
thats usually what good teams do. Its not a good sign they struggled with Utah st. Michigan struggled against Airforce and Cincinnati
September 1st, 2018 at 12:13 PM ^
Ryan Day has a very punchable face.
September 1st, 2018 at 12:15 PM ^
not as punchable as urbans
September 1st, 2018 at 1:30 PM ^
They used to have a guy for that.
September 1st, 2018 at 12:16 PM ^
Hey MSU....That’s what a top ten team does to a lesser opponent week one.
September 1st, 2018 at 12:16 PM ^
Annnnnnd that's the game. Way too many happy inbreds inside Ohio Stadium for my liking.
Going to switch to Maryland/Texas.
September 1st, 2018 at 12:19 PM ^
A few folks I know who live on my street are at the OSU/OSU game -- and I can vouch for your statement.
September 1st, 2018 at 12:21 PM ^
Not so fast my friend. Tie game now.
September 1st, 2018 at 1:18 PM ^
Terps dominating Horns.
September 1st, 2018 at 12:19 PM ^
Also on tv: Illinois hosting Kent State... and a replay of the Lions-Browns preseason game on NFL network. Heeeeeeey remote control!
September 1st, 2018 at 12:21 PM ^
Maryland Texas game announcers seem to wearing high levels of makeup. Enough for my wife to comment on their eye liner. Yuck.
Yes, one was Brady Quinn.
September 1st, 2018 at 12:21 PM ^
Ummmmm what just happened... nice defense buckeyes!!
September 1st, 2018 at 12:22 PM ^
They were getting gashed on the first drive too; the fumble wasn't good defense so much as a Tommy Reesian "Dude, where's the ball?"
September 1st, 2018 at 12:21 PM ^
Wow, Ohio State's defense looks awful.
September 1st, 2018 at 1:48 PM ^
Not the D-Line.
September 1st, 2018 at 3:42 PM ^
So, everyone else then?
September 1st, 2018 at 5:18 PM ^
Yes, linebackers and secondary.
September 1st, 2018 at 12:22 PM ^
Oklahoma has another great QB
September 1st, 2018 at 12:23 PM ^
#23 saftety for OSU J Whint looked like he was running in a peat bog.
September 1st, 2018 at 12:23 PM ^
LET'S GO BEAVERS!!!
September 1st, 2018 at 12:23 PM ^
Nice Beaver
September 1st, 2018 at 5:14 PM ^
The Naked Gun is always worth an upvote.
September 1st, 2018 at 12:24 PM ^
OSU defense getting shredded early by the screen, backs off and get's hit with a long easy TD up the seam. Secondary looking shaky.
September 1st, 2018 at 12:25 PM ^
That's the risk of the squib kick :(
September 1st, 2018 at 12:27 PM ^
Ryan Day looks like a chode.
September 1st, 2018 at 12:27 PM ^
Beaver's secondary is.. not great
September 1st, 2018 at 12:28 PM ^
How did the Beaver DB lose his man that bad?
