This is where I believe a player should have the right to return at any point before they sign an NFL contract. If they don't get drafted come on back until you're eligibilities up.

If Green is not going to get the chance to show off his abilities in front of NFL scouts I just can't imagine it's going to bold well for him.

This isn't just the right take, it's the only ethical take.  The idea that a kid is now a professional athlete because he declared himself for the draft is absurd.  Really, it shouldn't be until they sign a contract that obligates them to receive money for playing.  But, I can see the peril of a player not liking their draft position and then deciding to come back to college.  But, really, is that any different than not liking a job offer and staying with your old employer?  That's the NFL's problem, to regulate draft-dodgers, not the NCAA's.  The NCAA should function absolutely blind to the NFL.  And what the NCAA does here is immoral, and colluding, IMO.  It's just the old corpse of rich white dudes sticking it to student-athletes at the behest of old NFL white dudes.

Good luck to everyone! The more Wolverines in the NFL the better for recruiting. I think Morris, Olu, Mazi and Turner have the best chances of going in the top 3/4 rounds.

Yeah, so if we could lead the B1G in combine invites while also returning the most production year in and year out, that’d be great, ok.

Also, just yet another shining example of the talent disparity between the two divisions.

This should be a bigger factor than NIL when it comes to recruiting.  This staff has NFL  experience, understands the process and will prepare you for the next level.  You may not drive a Lambo before you play a down though.  You might have to wait till you're 23, but you will have a nice degree as a backup option.  You will appreciate it more once you put the work in.

Based on overall numbers, it would seem that way.
Roughly 320 kids invited to the combine each year and roughly 256 draft picks each year (255.8 average over last 10 years).

I dug into the 2022 NFL draft where, as far as I can tell, 35 players that didn't earn an invite to the scouting combine were drafted.
