Nico Collins "likes" tweet with #FireHarbaugh hashtag

It appears Nico's thumb hit the heart icon on a scathing Fire Harbaugh tweet.

Don't want to over-dramatize but I suppose this feeds the narrative that Harbaugh may be losing the team. Also may be nothing

Don't shoot the messenger.

BRENT VENABLES.

He's the best defensive mind in college football today.  Seems to be the only DC in college football capable of stopping Elite modern offenses (i.e. in CFP formats).

Only 48 yrs old.  Has been the #2 man at top-5 programs (Oklahoma/Clemson) for the past 20 yrs (since he was 28 yrs old).  An excellent recruiter -- Rivals' 2016 National Recruiter of the year.

Knows how it's done at a top program.  Has enough experience to be ready 3 or 4 times over.  No black marks, violations, accusations in his history.  Could probably bring one of Clemson's co-OC's with him (Tony Elliott--the more proven offensive mind *or* Jeff Scott--the elite recruiter).

Dabo, Kirby Smart, Lincoln Riley, Ryan Day -- 4 of the coaches at top-5 programs in the country assumed their current positions with no prior HC'ing experience.

The answer is clear.  I personally think he's the next Nick Saban.

It's fairly common knowledge and has been talked about in a court of law that Clemson pays guys, which like duh.  So there are many accusations.  That makes recruiting a lot easier.

So you have to ask yourself whether he'd be as effective at a place where he can't do as much of that and has much higher academic standards.

It's not a terrible idea, but not at all without significant risk.

Had an interesting conversation last night with an elite QB coach who's name would be immediately recognized here. I asked him his opinion on our situation and without hesitation he said "Shea is broken, mentally." now this guy doesn't work with him but knows the program and is knowledgable enough to recognize things. I said broken? he said man dude you can just see it, he looks like an animal that has had his spirit broken and is just a shell of who they use to be. He then went on to say without me saying anything " Man Harbaugh is a weird weird dude, he has done some really really weird things. I asked his opinion on Gattis and he didn't really have much of one because as he said, the dude hasn't been the dude before so its hard to judge him. I mentioned the 20 min phone call deal and he said "you're kidding right? is that true?" and I said apparently and multiple people have confirmed it. He stood there for about 10 seconds looking off into space and then shook his head and just said "I'm telling you Harbaugh is a weird dude man and he has done some really weird things bruh..I'll just leave it at that".

Not really sure how to interpret any of that other than it sounds like Harbaugh is not well thought of by folks or they think his methods are odd and off.
