The Lions are now 7-7, wow! It's supposed to be pretty cold at Back of America Stadium, like 30 degrees. This may be the coldest it's been for a football game there. The Panthers are 5-8, after starting 1-3 with Matt Rhule. They've been 4-6 since, but 3-2 the last 5 games. They aren't cellar dwellers, and as a matter of fact, they also are vying for a spot in the playoffs if they win the NFC south, which isn't a good division this year.

Panthers effortlessly ran through the Lions on that first drive.

Can this dome team win a crucial game outside in cold weather?

Answer: apparently not.

I'm really happy with The Lions this year as they've already surpassed my prediction of 6 wins. A lot to be excited about

Regardless of that, Glenn is not the answer at DC. They can add more talent and I don't think it would matter. He consistently does shit that makes zero sense at all. I don't think he's the guy you need at DC and especially if they can't keep Johnson on board as OC.

It's The NFL so everyone can have a stinker game orjust a bad drive but he constantly does shit that makes absolutely zero sense.

Sure but it's more than that. Consider that he didn't even stand Hutchinson up for the first 5 weeks or so. It took a team meeting and staff shakeups for them to realize that maybe they should stand the guy up.

They were historically bad and have improved to just the 2nd worst defense in the league. I don't think it's one injury but could be wrong.

If the defense wasn't historically bad for the first 7 weeks they're already in the playoffs. They were the worst defense ever fielded in the stats era through 7 weeks.

That's why I'm so low on Glenn. They lack talent but it's not like they have HS players in there. Scheme alone should make you not the worst defense ever.

I don't think he's the guy and I think Ben Johnson is going to be a HC somewhere next year. So his replacement has to be excellent or you need a better DC.
