Nebraska Football investigated for NCAA violations

Scott Frost and the Nebraska Football team are under investigation for holding off campus football workouts during the pandemic that went very much against the NCAA's requirements for practices and workouts during that stretch of time.

Brett McMurphy is breaking the story and while he hasn't provided specifics, he is saying that it is an "egregious" breaking of the rules if proven true.

These are rather minor rule violations that I imagine 90% of schools break/broke last year. It does beg the question how did the NCAA get tipped off about it unless someone on the inside decided to rat Frost out, similar to the RichRod stuff a decade ago.

Palace intrigue in Nebraska.

I saw the other day Arizona State has Suspended 3 coaches for sneaking recruits on campus during Covid lockdown.     Not sure if anyone posted yet. They have some major recruiting violations.

The conspiracy theorist in me makes me wonder if this is a backdoor way of getting rid of Frost without having to pay out the rest of his contract.  There's no way the university didn't know this was happening, so they likely didn't care or figured if they got caught they'd be able to use it as leverage.

I am pretty sure our writers here were bragging that we finally started using our analysts as coaches the same way the Bama's of the college football world have been for years.

Man I don't know what happened to Frost. I went to UCF and attended during the 0 win season and his years and then the Heupel. Yeah he was a bit out there but I don't remember him being this bad. Even the "National Champions" thing he didn't fully support, as that was more the AD Danny White.
