Natty tix from Athletic Department

Did anyone else get their "You get a ticket! And you get a ticket! And you get a ticket!" email from the athletic dept about the Natty tix? I never qualify for tix, so I'm wondering if this email will be followed by an "oops, you weren't supposed to get that email" email..

I live in the natty tix BPONE.

Total non sequitur here...

Am I alone in my dislike of the phrase "Natty"? 

"Nattys" are tall boys to be consumed in your early 20s when all the "Beasts" and the PBRs have been cleaned out of the cooler. Nattys are a window into a world before you become a classy sumbitch that drinks things like "Banquet" and "Champagne (of bottled beers)".

I got them too and I was surprised. I never get them, but I'm usually about 20-30 points away so this was a pleasant surprise. Either I'm going with my brother or he's going to take his son with the tickets. We're in the 475 bad seats, but I'm going to have to think about flying out there if we make it. I have 181.5 points.

Got 3 in the 400 enzone/500 sideline for $575 each (190 priority points, for those asking)

Dumb (old person) question… I am assuming there is a good way to sell them if I can’t make it there.

If you can't go, I'd gladly buy them. We have 8 or 10 of us that are looking but none had enough points to request them. We have flights and hotels, so just waiting for markets to come down some.

<edit> Turns out I was NOT able to secure tickets 😪.  Would happily buy anything not being used.

Tickets are 3 @ $575 in 400 Endzone or 500 Sideline

Assuming UM victory, Delivery of e-tix will be by Jan 8. 

Flying in to Long Beach from Detroit on Delta for $600 (booked last night after receiving email). 

Checking on Booking.com for places between SoFi and Long Beach to stay (Sat thru Tues).

I got the 3 ticket max for my priority point level (480+). Level 300/400, $675 each. What blows my mind is what is happening on ticketmaster. How is the venue/ticketmaster allowed to scalp their own tickets? The 'red dots' are 'reseller' tickets, but clearly these are not people reselling tickets. There are literally rows of tickets for sale on the lower three levels in the corners. Only the venue could have a whole row to sell. They aren't even trying to hide the fact that they are inflating the value by scalping their own seats (and blocking out sections to make it seem like less tickets are available than there actually are). That's insane. Shouldn't the schools playing have access to more of these tickets rather than the venue selling for three times face value?
