You realize shutouts don't really happen regardless of opponent level in college football anymore right? It is impressive to be +7 on defense essentially regardless of opponent. This is definitely a great defense.

Just a crushing performance. There was never a prayer MSU would cobble together anything significant. MSUs RB looks pretty good but that was it.

Getting good edge rushes. DTs of course are great. The zone defense is getting the turnovers we have lacked for years.
Excellent.
BTW James Franklin just said that PSU and OSU have the two best defenses in the country. I hope and expect that this defense will be told of that.

As bad as we thought the play-calling was with Pep, Gattis, Drevno, DeBord, RR, etc….
I don’t think I can remember it being as bad as what PSU did yesterday. Brutal.
Run for 6 on 1st down, 3 straight passes. Twice throwing on 3rd and less than a yard. 42 passes to 18 combined carries for the 2 RBs. So many head-scratchers. I bet PSU people are feeling what we felt in the aftermath of the 2017 MSU debacle.
