Yup soon as I saw him play a few games, I thought he'll never sniff his potential in college because he's too raw, but he'll blow up in the NBA.  Him and Hunter Dickinson are like perfect opposites.  Both tall, talented dudes but Hunter is built to wreck at the college level but not the NBA and Mousa had NBA written all over him even if he didn't get to do much here at Michigan

"It's not personal, brother, it's business."

That dunk was nasty.  Dude has some guns, too.  Night and day difference in how skinny college kids are compared to Pros.

He played well overall too. Made some shots and brought his normal energy.

As did Caleb the other night.

Unfortunately, Brown was cut by the Spurs, though.

This is the type of play I had hoped to see while he was at Michigan and unfortunately it happened too rarely.  Hopefully he can find a home in the NBA - I'm certainly rooting for the kid!

I think this highlights his unique athleticism in that he can run and leap from that running start as well as anyone.  His two-footed jump was underwhelming last year and limited his impact around the hoop on both ends of the court.  If he can get into a system where they like to get up and down the floor he could be really exciting.  If he can also continue to develop in an NBA conditioning program year round he might be able to maximize his vertical leap and quick-twitch ability too.

Was fun watching him show flashes of his crazy athleticism at UM.  At times you could tell he was thinking too much though, too. Typical freshman stuff.  Best of luck to him in the league!

Not talking about Diabate specifically here (hasn't even played a real game yet), but it's weird how the NBA has evolved to the point where its such a "loose" game that young guys can thrive off elite athleticism alone almost moreso than in college.

A+ on the teammate reaction scale as well. The bench going crazy. #4 with the shocked, open-mouth, amazement. Great work by everyone involved.

Really too bad Shea Serrano appears to no longer be doing his Disrespectful Dunk index, because this would score very high, even given the preseason context.
