Mike Morris to draft via his Instagram

I think the biggest difference is where they will both likely end up in the draft. From what I’ve heard, Mike Morris is likely a second or third round pick. By contrast, Blake Corum would not be expected to go until the later rounds. While an incredibly productive, dynamic courage running back, at least from what I have seen of projections, between Corum’s perceived lack of elite measurables, the general devaluation of the running back position from a draft perspective, and Corum coming off of an injury, he would be better served coming back to college for another year, where with the proper NIL program in place, he could make as much or more than his first year contract.

What you've heard does not seem to correlate with several draft projections. Both are expected to be picked after 65, potentially even after 100 in Morris' case. There is little agreement on his value, pending the combine.

It is my opinion that this One More Year Fund should make it so any player picked after the 1st would be taking a potential cut in compensation if they leave Michigan with eligibility remaining. If the fund would provide clarity on how much they'd need to make this happen I'm sure Michigan fans would fund it completely and even more than needed.

A true Michigan man! Wish MM was healthy towards the end to see his true ability. Thanks for your hard work and dedication, Morris! Get the money and terrorize the QBs in the NFL!

Best of luck kid, you flourished when it was your chance to shine. I think you have a lot of good football in front of you and I'm excited to watch it. He's one of the very good ones. I love that our program and university breeds hordes of kids of this caliber on and off the field.

ESPN has him #10 DE and #61 overall, which makes him a Round 2-3 pick.

Something called Draftek has him at 150 overall - round 5

CBS doesn't have him in their top 150 - round 6+

NFL Draft Buzz has him as the #15 Edge and #71 overall - round 3

So a bit all over the board right now, anywhere from a high of possibly round two to round 6-7. That said, who knows what people have been telling him. Maybe his stock has been rising and he's feeling solid with the round 2-3 range.

I predict he'll go higher than Chris Hinton went - but also feel he could potentially profit from the One More Year Fund?!

Man I wish there was more clarity on how these donations are put to use! I really believe many would be more eager to donate, and be more generous, if it was clearer who they offer, how much, what the larger plan is.

They can do this, right?

happy for him.

his editor needs a little help though, 'i went through plenty of lows' sounds like he had nothing but a crud sandwich while at michigan, and obviously he doesn't mean that.

no worries, on to the next chapter for him.  we can add to the NFL 'edge' university reputation.

Great player who showed out when it was his turn. Was a great rotational player last year and was “the guy” this year and filled in admirably. Every year under Harbaugh there have been at least one (sometimes 2) legit DUDES on the Edge. From Wormley and Taco, to Chase and Gary, to Paye and Uche, to Hutch and Ojabo, to Mike Morris.

Next year: It’s Eyabi Okie, Derrick Moore, Braiden McGregor and Josiah Stewart’s turn.

Also, Mike Morris might be the one of the only guys who capitalized on NIL the way it was initially pitched. “College football player on local (renowned ambulance chaser) lawyer’s commercial”

Interested to see what he does at the next level. Given his size and run stopping ability, I wonder if he may be better suited to bulk up into a DT or 3-4 End with pass rushing ability a la Javon Hargrave, rather than trying to play the Edge role like Hutchinson does

Glad for him, he was dominant in our first road game (at Iowa) and helped us snap a 17 year winless streak in Kinnick.

Also, high-end character. Love seeing him in 4Q on TV vs. Ohio along with Mike S.
