Michigan will open against a new HC in 2022

Steve Addazio, last seen meekly leaving to the field to the interest of no one after getting his second personal foul flag of the game on Saturday, has been fired at Colorado State.

That makes two new coaches in the non conference. And given Todd Graham’s history, we can’t assume it won’t be three.

OSU RB Coach Tony Alford is a CSU alum, and that program has some potential for a G5 school. Huge enrollment in a beautiful area with a beautiful stadium.

Lets start the Alford to CSU hype train folks.

Colorado State can hire Nick Saban or Jon Gruden as coaches - we are still going to kick their ass right out of the Big House and back into their mediocre conference butt quick.

The Rams should've stayed in the mountains and scheduled teams like UTEP and Nevada - going to be ugly!

Addazio seemed to build a bond with the players but was a jerk in press conferences and with the community as a whole which kept people away from the games.  A coaching transition at a school like this only means we have a pushover non conference game to start next year.

More time to discuss this situation later.  Go Blue! and Beat Iowa is our priority.

Please let this be true. They already had (presumably) a night game at Kinnick in early October and Columbus on the schedule, it was a bit of a gut punch to get the MSU game flipped back to EL. Not to mention my general hatred for the "both home, or both away" rivalry setup we had to endure for a few years.

I'm actually looking forward to seeing the finalized conference schedule. I'm holding out hope the conference is going to announce the end of divisions
