UM is holding a special #BowtiesForJude day on Sunday at Crisler Center to bring awareness to Jude Stamper’s Arthrogryposis Multi-Congenital disorder with Escobar Syndrome, which prevents him from getting normal bend in his joints. Beilein signed Stamper, a boy from Monroe, during a special ceremony in November and has attended practices, film sessions and games.

This entire team, but especially Matthews and Simpson, need to work on finishing around the rim. FTs for both of them too. They should spend a lot of workout time together this summer.

Yes. It’s a double kick to the balls.

You drive. Have a good to great look at the rim. Miss. No you are at the line for two way more than you should be. Should only be one shot after a make. And then you are awful at free throws and shooting more of them than you should. It’s probably a difference of 2-5 points per game for each of them. Easily.

This game shouldn't be this close. They're mainly in this game because poor shooting in the beginning from Michigan and rebounding airballs under the rim.

Rutgers only has 21 points. Making less than a third of their shots. Went over 9 minutes without making a field goal and 8 minutes without a point. Yet we're only ahead by 6 at the half. Ugh.

Not worried about losing this game yet, but it feels like it'll be an ugly slog till the end. As long as we win, that should be fine to close this stretch.

Defense has been great. 21 points for Rutgers on 0 assists (!!!), which means all their offense has come on putbacks or iso/hero-ball stuff which I'm cool with.

Offense is still struggling. Robinson is the only reason we're winning, he's the only one who can hit shots. Matthews and Simpson have both missed a couple layups again.  Offense is frusturating, but we've been lacking energy all week. Probably a result of the packed schedule and emotional let down from playing Purdue/MSU to Maryland/Nebraska/Rutgers. Offense clearly isn't great this year but it's not this bad. Get through today with a win and then we have until Thursday to rest for @Purdue. The offense will get better long term.
