Trying to not watch because I’m still feeling good from the Lions win. 

How many fucking open shots can a team miss? 

It’s literally illegal defense everytime Hunter gets the ball down low. Hell there was just 2 defenders camped in the paint not guarding anyone. 

Beilein teams were so disciplined while Juwan's teams are awful at that.

My expert opinion is that we’d be doing much better if we’d stop doing things that could make us lose.

God. No matter how awful they look... They hit two shots in a row and i start jumping up and down.. praying they turn a corner 

Man, they don’t even guard Bufkin at the line anymore. 

we are in the 2014-2016 John Beliein years of Juwan Howard's tenure. 

Weird shit, man.

Time to consider whether moving on from Juwan is the best plan. This team is very not good. Roster management is a disaster. Defense is a joke. Cannot shoot free throws. Yikes!

See the way Juwan has to draw them in during the huddle?  This team is not connected.

Besides Howard, really no one who needs to be run off the three line.  Hunter has 2-3 guys on him every time.

Hunter is the worst 7 ft defender I’ve ever seen

You could leave most of the M players open and they would self guard. It would be random for any team defensively but I’m guessing majority of B1G teams will give those shots to M and take away Hunter / Jett while living with others doing damage - if they ever do 

I'm still not on the "Howard is a bad coach" train but I'm officially on the "he needs to change his staff and get people to play defense" train because the past 2 years have been bad on that front.

I realize there are a lot of new faces here, but geez.  These are not particularly high-end MAC teams we are struggling with.  Schedule does not get easier through end of non-conf.

Yikes. This isn't going to be a fun winter.

Also for late-fall purposes: UVA, Kentucky, and UNC coming up.  Dear god.

Where the hell was this intensity 20 minutes ago? 

This 4-out offense needs a wrinkle on the weak side. The 2 guys are just standing outside the 3-point line. How about PG wide dribble while those guys backscreen - princeton offense? Just something to generate off-ball movement

The fact that this team continues to suck from the FT line is such an indictment of Howard’s coaching.

We just need to get Moody in here

This team has way too many holes. Right now they are an upper third MAC team.

I’m not too educated about basketball. But if you have trouble shooting and defending wouldn’t you want to really crash the glass for more opportunities?  Seems like Juwan sends everyone back and ignored the glass. But even we we send everyone back we still don’t defend well. 

It takes being down 4 to a mid-major for this team to start playing with urgency.  God forbid they start games this way.
