Last year EVERYBODY on this board freaked out about the foul shooting.  Of course, I don't think it ever cost us a game that we were leading, but all season it was "this foul shooting is going to kill us in the tournament."

This year is massively improved.  Zavier in particular has not gotten enough credit for his massive FT improvement.

Michigan finished the game 19-24 (79%) from the FT line.  Iggy: 6-7.  Matthews: 5-6. Poole: 5-5. Livers: 3-4.

Also, Michigan finished the regular season #200 in FT% nationally, at 69.8%, which isn't great, but last year it was 65.9%.  The 2012-13 team that shot so well?  70.7%.  That's a difference of from this year's rate of maybe 5 made free throws over the course of a season.

The biggest problem I have with the offense is the turnovers. We haven’t been punished so far, and may not be this game, but that needs to be cleaned up.

I’m liking the energy though.

Scoreboard you think UM is playing well. Not really though. Can’t make any shots. Careless with ball. Their calling card is no TO’s, probably have 5-6.
