flashing the leather that inning, first a very tough 4-6-3 DP, and then one of the best catches ever of a foul ball by a first baseman, as Benedetti leaned way over the stands and the only two fans in that entire section to grab that one!

That play has got to be on ESPN later!

are full of shit as they praise the weekend hosted by Target Field.  Yeah, I get it that downtown Minneapolis is nice and that they get to play in a Big League venue, but if a ball falls to the ground between two outfielders and nobody sees it, did it really happen??!

Just heard the announcers give the ruling if the game is rain shortened. Real dumb if you ask me.
For those that didn't hear it, there are no rain shortend games In the championship. If they can't get a complete game in, it doesn't matter the score or the inning, the higher seed is declared the winner.

Adcock relieved after a solid 5 2/3 innings, now Michigan up in the bottom of the 6th with one down.

Slater with a one-out single to right to get things going...

I am going to quote someone close to the football program. "Lots of buzz that Michigan will be back with Nike soon." Take it FWIW, I wouldn't have believed that unless I heard it from a reliable source such as this. This is a multi-million dollar decision that I did not think would leak until it was over.

Maryland needs to look at strike tracker - those are strikes. Too close to take with 2 strikes anyway. Apparently their baseball coach is as much of a d-bag as their basketball coach.

How did the inning end?  Gametracker showed lead-off ground-rule double, then an out (pop-up or strike-out?), then someone out at first, but the graphic showed nobody on base.  What happened to the guy on 2nd?  Didn't say double play...  Only reported two outs, but the inning was over.  Something like that happened yesterday too, a couple times.
