I'm really glad they didn't eject Bush. It would have been a rough call, but it was close enough that I was worried. He had a great game. Overall, very, very impressive. For having so little starting experience, it's scary thinking they're probably going to get even better. Secondary got beat on a handful of good throws, but no "are you kidding me, how did he get that far open" throws. Florida's problems aside, it's still a major accomplishment to hold them under 200 yards.

My only complaint is that we didn't see enough big plays and sacks!

But that is a very petty complaint.

This defense is gonna be the only source of domination for this team, that's the truth. They are the overall key to winning lots of games.

Secondary, as already stated, was questionable but obviously needs time to gain experience and adjust. They'll be fully ready for next week.

But, it looks like crazy arguments that this defense could miraculously be better than last year's defense can be slowly but surely proving true. Hurst and Gary were up to par, and most of all, Bush was EVERYWHERE.

Awesome win out of the defense. The Gator beatdown came from them.

Cannot wait to see this defense against Ohio State. By then they'll have experience. Last years defense did an incredible job through 3.5 quarters and I believe this year's team has more athletic ability and will eat up that Tecmo Bowl playbook of Ohio States offense. You have to beat this defense with accurate throws and big plays from receivers. Tough to do that against this pass rush. Being a Michigan fan for 30 years, never seen their defense look this explosive. Not even last year's team. Secondary is supposed to be a weak spot but they weren't ever out of position. No broken coverages. Completions were in good coverage. Only mental mistake was losing contain on one play. Really impressive against a decent offensive line.

Yeah I don't think this Florida offense is all that bad. They were dominated just about every damn play though and that's that. Someone needs to get in Devin Bush's ear however and talk some sense into him because he is going to take himself out of some big game here in the near future with his stubborn mental mind frame style of hitting. Needs to understand that hits from the shoulder without the helmet and with his speed are damn lethal. Damn kids.
