Michigan State seating sections

Submitted by Gil From Omaha on
I was wondering if there was a Michigan section in the lower bowl of spartan stadium. We are getting tickets and we want to be in a Michigan Section but prefer lower bowl seats.

On vacation with the kids sitting in the hotel room watching last year's game.  I had such a sick feeling after the fluke finish.  I can't wait until we obliterate little brother in less than 2 weeks!!  I hope we win by 5 touchdowns.

if the loyal green and white continue complaining about how the value of their tickets for our game continues to nosedive.

Posted this in the other recent thread...my M section tickets are in 105.  I realize this is upper bowl so not specifically your question, but these are tickets through the Michigan AD.

Sections 4, 105 and 106 (both 105 and 106 are upper bowl), and Sections 120, 121, 126 and 127 (all four are upper bowl) are all designated specifically as visitor seating. Sections 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 are on the same side as Michigan's bench. That said, I would imagine end zone seating (Sections 28, 29, 30, 1, 2, 3, 4 , 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 would be interspersed with visiting fans and generally cheaper.  As someone suggested, you might call the MSU ticket office at 517-355-1610 for better information or to find out where MSU students are located so you can be as far away from them as possible.

Any of sections 1-8 and 25-30 for the lower bowl.

4 and 5 are the actual visitors section/where our band is, but the whole north endzone will have a lot of maize and blue.

I'm going and have been to games at MSU before.  Their fans are a bit fair-weather, and given Michigan's success so far this season I think you'll be fine anywhere in the stadium apart from the student section.  Rather than focus on the upper bowl Michigan sections, I'd just find the best seats you can get, and more-or-less mind your manners.  If you're coming from Omaha with your parents, you deserve to get good seats - and you'll find plenty of kindred spirits this year.

You can also expect to get some crap from some drunk brahs, but nothing that should keep you from the game.  Expect to be reminded that "Dantonio's OWNED Michigan" and all the rest that comes with these S.O.B.'s having had a great record against us since Dantonio came to teh program.  Then expect to watch Michigan smack the snot out of MSU.

I was at the game this past weekend, and MSU appears to have a visitor's section in the northeastern corner of the stadium. It's a thin stripe that goes all the way up the lower bowl.
