Didn't see this posted, but ESPN came up with a list of their top 100 players for the 2022 season: Michigan is represented well.

10. Blake Corum

26. Olu Oluwatimi

75. DJ Turner

99. Mike Morris

It's interesting to see how accurate, or more truthfully inaccurate, pundits are on the impact players have some years in college. Kind of surprised JJ did not make the list but Turner did, will be interesting to see what next year's list looks like with all the talent coming back (JJ, Edwards, Graham, Johnson). Who do you think should have made the list, how does ESPN's look (some guys are way too low and others too high, Ebuka is not a top 40 player, and Jayden Daniels is def higher than 97 player on this list just to name a few).

Two observations

1. OSU bias never stops.  Apparently, they continue to have the better players despite results on the field.  In separate news, if trends continue, next year they will be able to score one-third as many points as UM.

2.  The only player on this list that I would trust to touch my 68' Mustang is Cam Rising.

He looks more like a Camaro type of guy (j/k).

Seriously, I only watched two of his games (both against USC) but that dude's a baller. And a tough son of a bitch to boot. I'd take him as my QB any day.

It looks like the list has an added focus on draft eligible players quoting Mel Kiper as the authority which would explain JJ being left off the list although there are some high profile sophomores on the list.  It is just an ESPN opinion so I would leave it at that.

58/100 didn't make the preseason rankings, including Olu and Morris and all 5 of the TCU players on the list.

That's the thing I love about college football. Everyone gets a chance to show what they can do and stars just appear where no one expected them.

Can you imagine recruiting 4 top 100 players? The college football world is strange. Youd think accidentally a school of UM level winning 90+% of their games for two seasons couldnt keep top players away if they tried.

I saw this list the other day and didn't share it because it's bizarre. Michigan's running game continues to be penalized for its excellence: neg Corum because of the OL, and neg the OL because Corum.

Olu wins the Outland and Rimington, UM line wins Joe Moore award and he is the 6th OL mentioned?  And the 2nd Center, behind another B10 center?  And Paris Johnson who gets abused 2 years straight is listed 10 spots ahead of him?

Obviously these lists don't mean anything but c'mon.
