Spencer Hall on harbaugh:

"LITTLE HARBAUGH: Here’s the part that amazed me! Since Harbaugh arrived in 2015, his program is the only one in all of FBS with zero upset victories. Harbaugh’s Wolverines are 0-10 as underdogs. Even Bama has an upset win in that span, and Bama’s only been an underdog once.

If Herman’s Texas expands or shrinks in order to match the size of the enemy, Harbaugh’s Michigan expands or shrinks in direct contrast to the size of the enemy.

Against Rutgers, Harbaugh is Galactus. Against the Buckeyes, he is:

Up next, Michigan is favored by three points on the road against the higher-ranked Indiana Hoosiers."

I didn't know this but it feels true. Harbaugh teams constantly struggle to meet expectations and never ever surprise and exceed expectations. Ever. It's a constant struggle against ourselves

Having said that, it's weird to be that #8 ND wasn't an upset. Were we favored in that game?

This is exactly what I don't get. Why can't we punch above our weight class? We should be able to beat OSU. Why? Because lots of other teams with inferior talent do it to other super teams. Auburn still gives Alabama a run for their money once every three years. They don't just lose 10 straight. Clemson loses to Syracuse. Iowa State find a way almost every season against whoever is leading the Big12.
