Michigan-MSU Points Pledge for CFS
Something to think about for this weekend:
I'm pledging $1 per point scored by Michigan over MSU this weekend, for Ace's CFS fundraiser.
I invite anyone else to do the same, and I also invite someone to post below on how I can make the nice looking donation box appear in this post. Until then...

It would require a lot of overtimes.

As I recall, the record in Division I is seven overtimes, so if you include 35 minutes of OT plus regulation, it's only a bit above 13,000 points per minute. It will require some phenomenal three-point shooting, but I think they should aim for it here.

How would a game at 13,000 PPM impact our efficiency ratings? Can we get a stats expert on this?

They would...
... bleep beep boop ... carry the four ...
...
Improve

Total Points scored by Michigan or the point differential?
if Michigan wins by 1 point are we talking $1?

I understood the comment to mean $1/point scored, and the "over" in the OP is jsut the assumption of a M victory.

I think "over" could be replaced with "against." That's how I read it anyways

Thank you for finding another way to keep this going. Here's the nice looking donation box.

That goal you set for $5K? I thought that was too low... Tough to aim higher because you don't want to burn people out - I get that. Just thought the $5K goal was modest.
Nonetheless, thanks for keeping up the good work through the troubles, Ace!

Unfortunately, having had CFS for almost 30 years--more than half a normal working life--I have nothing to offer in the way of support except my sympathy and encouragement. If there's a bright side, it's that CFS has been offically recognized and sufferers no longer need doubt their own sanity when trying to convey to others that "it's not all in my head." Since you're young, there's hope for, if not a cure, at least palliatives that mitigate the symptoms.
I'm happy that you have so much support, because I've had essentially none. The only thing worse than having CFS is facing it alone.
I wish you the best.
