Not the worst thing forcing them to dribble out clock and allowing a bucket that keeps it a 3-possession game. But, damn! One stop away from this being over.

It’s like the refs can’t help themselves but to help izzo. We’ve finally got some calls today, but the “foul” on Cassius to kill the layup was, at this point, chuckelable

FUCK YEA!!!!!!! BEST GAME I'VE SEEN IN A WHILE!!!!!!!! EVEN BETTER THAN THE GONZAGA GAME!!!!!!!!! Completely different team from the last couple of months. Livers makes a huge difference, of course, but they played with more heart than I've seen in a while. Great job, Howard! Great free-throw shooting everyone! Fuck the refs! Go Blue!

YES!! The HEART was the difference!  They didn't play great but they played HARD. And that was good enough to win. That was the effort they'd been missing the last few weeks. There was still a lot of sloppy play but if you bring the effort in other areas - defense, rebounding, loose balls - you can make up for turnovers and poor shooting (and sometimes dogshit officiating). But today they hit some shots too.

DOn't let up now!! Keep it going!!!

I am so glad Coach Howard finally told Livers not to get hurt and the rest of the team to finally hit some shots..  I was getting worried he may not be the right choice.

This was also a huge recruiting game with a lot of visitors.  Big, big win.  Another data point for Howard's teams showing up big time when it matters most.

Well this team certainly proved me wrong. I thought Winston was going to mop the floor with Michigan today, and instead Michigan got a huge must-win in their back pocket.

Should’ve beaten OSU too, but if Michigan could only get one, this is the one it needed to get.

Solid W.

Wish they got Livers about 13-15 shots vs. only 10. By far the best shooter on this team. Brooks not bad at times. Hope Davis is ok, seemed to be holding that arm low on bench. They need him. Not always pretty, but a tournament team with Livers on this squad. Still holding out hope they can really turn this up with him back, he played 20 min of IL, basically hasn’t played all Big Ten season. Lets see him play 5-6 game span and see our record.
