Davison's top 6 includes Michigan, Bama, Auburn, Kansas, LSU, and Memphis and he is the #12 player in the composite and #13 player on 247
This is interesting considering neither 247, VerbalCommits, nor his Twitter show a reported Michigan offer and we also just got a PG commit in Frankie Collins

Seems like we are at least a hat on the table for a lot of these top 30 kids these days. One would think we would've heard about this top 15 kid if there was some real interest.
At this point, I just want another really talented big to pair with Dickinson.

It's interesting because we weren't in his initial top 10, but now we're added to his top 6 without an offer. Maybe this is a Josh Christopher situation where he's just looking for some attention?

I think it's more of a hat on the table thing. Unless Zeb and this kid are gonna play the 2 also, the pg room is crowded next year. Need another sg and a big man.

1) Maybe kids like the Jordan swag that only Carolina and Michigan have?
2) JH is willing to chase all 5 star recruits, even if it ends up not working he is willing to try. Other experienced coaches would see that list of other schools and know it’s unlikely to win that recruit.
3) since some recruits might know that the Fab Five got paid and caught, maybe they are thinking Michigan also pays and we lose out in the end when they don’t see some payouts for signing.
4] For the recruit, Michigan does add eyeballs to their twitter or instagram.
5) they also see they only have to beat out one or two players of lower ranking For playing time if they did chose Michigan.

Believe he tweeted there would be a surprise so I guess we are it. Wonder if this is leverage for us too, maybe for Sallis. Read that Frankie is trying to get Sallis on board too. Both Sallis and JD can play both guard spots.
