A few good prospects in the portal.  M. Dudek mentioned last week that the portal was would be a key resource and we would see some results soon.  But regardless of how we get DTs, Can't do much if we don't have the right coaches in place to coach these guys up.  I rather see some changes in the staff and then get the right defensive linemen.

I had a dream last night that we were playing one of those extremely obese 600 pounders you see on shows like, “My 600 Pound Life.” He was remarkably agile, but I couldn’t understand why he was playing defensive end instead of defensive tackle.

Let the decline continue for another year, maybe someone in Michigan will have the guts to fire harbaugh. We cant recruit at areas of needs, then we wonder why we get run on by all teams

The transfer portal is loaded, if we have the room we could get 3-4 starters out of it.  Getting a big man from Charlotte would be good, those small schools have talent too and when they develop into a big time player, they look to transfer.

Is the door still open for George Rooks.

While I am glad to see them going after some DT transfers, how about trying this out, recruiting some! You can't tell me that a school like UM can't get anyone with a pulse at DT? Instead of recruiting projects start getting guys who have the build to play the position. What has happened at this position alone should get Harbaugh and Brown fired as it will take years to recover from it since it takes 2-3 years to get DT's up to speed. At this point they seriously need to consider moving some OL to the position.

I have no inside information but from the outside it looks like this subject is one of the reasons and maybe the primary reason Greg Mattison is no longer on the staff. (It seems that Mattison saw this coming and wasn't allowed to stop it from happening,)

I like Don Brown and Greg Mattison but I can't shake the image in my mind of Mattison (after the 2018 OSU game) telling Brown, "See, you should have listened to me."

Stating the obvious, something is amiss.
