Michigan Football 2020: Keep the Dreams Alive

2020 is a year unlike any other. The things we know and love are different now. Some of us have lost loved ones, some of us have lost jobs. For many, the future is unclear and solutions seem doubtful. Things, they say, "have been better."

And yet, here we are. Through it all -- we remain. Resilience defining us; Vive la résistance; Momma didn't raise no quitter. 

We want football. We want to believe again. We want to beat Ohio State. "We want some more, we want some more."

 

I can't wait.

 

This is the year Pahokee Joe proves that hard work and strong character still count for something.

This is the year Chris Evans overcame the odds and made it back.

This is the year Ben Mason tries to break his facemask.


Michigan is a place where the three star mafia and the five star phenoms both get beat out by walk-ons. Michigan is a program where we know what happens to "Those Who Stay." 

Michigan football gives me hope that success can be earned. That no matter what anyone says, hard work and an indefatigable mind can lead to greatness.

Burn your bridges, friends. We're all in this together and there's no going back.

I wasn't sure if I should have posted this, but I figured a message about not giving up couldn't hurt a slow board on a Monday afternoon.

Listening to FWM and Stevie sing, that songs makes me think I should have been a player.  Though I wish I had the talent to be a player for the Michigan football team. Overall, I'm excited for the season and to see how Joe and our young WR will do. I think we will have a great running game but if we want to keep up with OSU, we are going to need to become a good passing team as well, so we can keep up with the scorefest.

I'm not a fan of the 'Pahokee Joe' thing...

And where a big majority is actually 4-star players.
