the "or" removed. Both of them are good. Wormley has been a beast though.
September 14th, 2015 at 8:26 PM ^
I wonder if Wormley doesn't "bring it" to practice like he does to games. His game performance would certianly warrant a removal of the "or" (as you pointed out) so that's the only thing that makes sense to me. And maybe Godin has the oppositve problem.

I like seeing Canteen back and that he is ahead of Perry.
Hopefully Lewis being listed is a good sign.
Is this the first week that Drake Johnson has been listed as an OR for the #2 running back?
September 14th, 2015 at 1:25 PM ^
I think it's a good sign long term, but I actually see the fact that Clark is now backing him up as a possible indication that they will sit Lewis this week. It's probably best to get him to 100% before the meat of the schedule.
September 14th, 2015 at 1:59 PM ^
Clark has been listed behind Lewis, but we've seen he's really the next guy in on either side. I suspect we'd see the same thing if Kalis went out, that Dawson is backing up both guards.
September 14th, 2015 at 8:23 PM ^
And on top of that - as far as I can tell - there haven't been any changes to our defensive depth charts so far this season. No special teams changes from Week #2 to Week #3. Only a couple of changes to the 2nd and 3rd stringers on offense as the "Ones" remain constant from Week #2 to #3.
September 14th, 2015 at 2:22 PM ^
Canteen needs to be the starting slot. Perry is good, but he's a year away.
I do believe this is the first time we've seen Johnson as an OR - that said, he's still likely the 4th RB for this week.
Question - has anyone seen Wayne Lyons?!

either as a safety or corner.

I don't recall seeing him out the earlier. #34 Clark came in for Lewis.

At first I thought you meant Mason Cole and was very confused why you wanted our LT to be returning kicks.

And now he's healthy again. That's my theory.
September 14th, 2015 at 3:54 PM ^
I think and hope you're right. If we did in fact throw two picks against Utah that were Perry's fault, then the game would have been very winnable with a more experienced receiver in there. I hope the decision to play Perry was due to injury, not a mistake by the coaches.
September 14th, 2015 at 2:56 PM ^
That would be awesome if they listed him as BLOCKER on special teams.
September 14th, 2015 at 12:22 PM ^
Freddie Footwork is back. Also: I like seeing Drake Harris' name 2nd on the wr depth chart.
September 14th, 2015 at 4:36 PM ^
and both in person and on TV Drake Harris looks small -- Division II-Division III small. Is it just me? I know he's skinny but isn't he supposedly 6'4"? Would be curious to see him standing on the field next to Darboh and Chesson.

I just bought a new lava lamp which came today! Plus that's a line from a Simpsons episode. -1 for plagerism.

For those who can't see the image, Shane Morris is starting

not cool
September 14th, 2015 at 12:38 PM ^
Why would you say that? That would have been funny if only it was funny.
September 14th, 2015 at 12:39 PM ^
you had me there for a second.
September 14th, 2015 at 12:25 PM ^
Good to see Jourdan Lewis on there.

My guess is they think Godin deserves to be listed as an OR and that is the spot on the line where it makes the most sense. He really could be listed as an OR at all 3 spots I guess.

maybe the staff feels its beneficial to both dudes. wormley has always been capable of those wow type plays every now and then but hes lacked consistentcy - this could act as nice supplement to riding wormley in film room, during training periods, etc and preaching the need to make every rep count and attack every single snap with all hes got or else.
if it helps stave off complacency and keeps wormley hungry then thats what matters. and maybe it helps to keep godin equally as hungry and fosters the daily competition that each unit on each squad should aim to promote

I think Kugler is still on Crutches but he's 2nd at Center.

Harbaugh: "Winovich, Wheatley, Shallman, and McCray... 2 maybe 3 of those could be back (from injury) today." (He wouldn't say which 2 or 3)
— Sam Webb (@SamWebb77) September 14, 2015
Harbaugh said he anticipates a bigger role for Drake Johnson in the next few weeks.
— Sam Webb (@SamWebb77) September 14, 2015
Harbaugh: (Shane) is the #2 quarterback, but not the #2 quarterback to go in to take two kneel downs at the end of a game

Harbaugh: (Redshirting Shane Morris) is a consideration

I am sure that Derrick Green is (not) happy that Drake will be getting a bigger role.
September 14th, 2015 at 2:09 PM ^
Well...IS HE HAPPY OR NOT HAPPY??? Now I'm all bumfuzzled...
September 14th, 2015 at 2:23 PM ^
he can always take that displeasure and use it as motivation to train until he is able to assert himself as the better option
September 14th, 2015 at 12:44 PM ^
First of all, Shane deserves 5 years at UM if he wants them. Second of all, Harbaugh loves him some upper class QB's. Third, Shane still has an NFL arm if it can be developed. Harbaugh with two more years with him could do wonders.
September 14th, 2015 at 12:46 PM ^
we will only blow his redshirt in case of a collapse or injury by Rudock.
Nice to hear. I think Shane needs more time to work with Harbaugh.
September 14th, 2015 at 1:14 PM ^
While Shane does need more time with Harbaugh I think O'Korn will win the job and he also has two years left.
September 14th, 2015 at 2:48 PM ^
It does swing the pendulum a little back in Shane's direction though if they both have 2 years of eligibility left.
September 14th, 2015 at 1:17 PM ^
Much better scenario then say him transferring after this year, not getting his degree, and sitting out next year
September 14th, 2015 at 12:34 PM ^
Has Newsome always been on the two deep? That's an insanely young LT slot.
