Fire Backich!
Please!
Beating the top 4 seeds? No problem!
Does this help with the directors thing?
Some, but Texas and Stanford are really hot....
Excluding points to be earned in Track and Field, these were the top six schools in the Directors Cup standings after the winter season, showing point totals and teams that are in NCAA Tournaments this spring (unfortunately, as national champs in women’s golf and runners up in rowing, Stanford seems poised to overtake Michigan for first in the final standings)
Michigan (1,000.25) teams in NCAA Tournaments this spring (7): Baseball, Softball (lost in Regional), Women’s Lacrosse (beat Notre Dame; lost in second round), Men’s Tennis (lost to Ohio State in quarterfinals), Women’s Tennis (lost to Texas in second round), Women’s Golf (20th), Rowing (10th)
Stanford (851.25) teams in NCAA Tournaments this spring (8): Baseball (4th in NCAA RPI), Softball (lost in Super Regional), Women’s Lacrosse (lost in opening round), Men’s Tennis (lost in third round), Women’s Tennis (lost in third round), Men’s Golf (18th), Women’s Golf (National Champs), Rowing (2nd to Texas, based on finish in eights, but tied in points)
Ohio State (842.00) teams in NCAA Tournaments this spring (6): Softball (lost in Regional), Men’s Lacrosse (lost in opening round), Men’s Tennis (lost in semifinals), Men’s Golf (23rd), Women’s Golf (lost in Michigan Regional), Rowing (8th)
Notre Dame (814.00) teams in NCAA Tournaments this spring (4): Baseball (13th in NCAA RPI), Softball (lost in Regional), Women’s Lacrosse (lost to Michigan in opening round), Men’s Tennis (lost in opening round)
North Carolina (702.00) teams in NCAA Tournaments this spring (6): Baseball (3rd in NCAA RPI), Women’s Lacrosse (National Champs), Men’s Tennis (lost in Super Regional), Men’s Golf (4th going into final day), Women’s Tennis (lost to Texas in semifinals), Women’s Golf (7th in Michigan Regional)
Texas (679.50) teams in NCAA Tournaments this spring (7): Baseball (16th in NCAA RPI), Softball (in College World Series), Men’s Tennis (lost to Michigan in round of 16), Women’s Tennis (National Champs), Men’s Golf (7th going into final day), Women’s Golf (13th), Rowing (National Champs)
Fuck stanford
Stanford is a regional host in the NCAA baseball tournament. They have 15 entries in the NCAA Track and Field Championships.
Also look for Texas to make a substantial leap in the final Directors Cup standings. Their women are national champs in tennis and rowing. Their softball team is in the College World Series. Their baseball team is a regional host in the NCAA tournament. They have the number one women’s track and field team in the country. In the NCAA Track and Field Championships, Texas has 25 entries (14 women and 11 men).
Michigan has only nine entries (four men and five women) in the NCAA Track and Field Championships.
Fuck Bakich! Fire his ass tonight!
WE WANT BAMA
(or whoever the Bama of baseball is)
It has been a hell of a B1G Ten winning year.
FUCK YA! Knocked of the top 4 seeds to do it, first time in Big Ten Tournament history!
also the first team to be eliminated from the tournament but still somehow come back to win it

Posted this on the other thread, but WOW...
Obertop caught 18 innings today and still had the legs to hit a dinger tonight!
Well that was a heckuva tournament for our boys -- very impressive all the way through!
LET'S BANG!!
Sexy boys are back?!?
Very impressive tournament run.
WE NEED MUPPETS!!
I DM'd Seth with a request for Muppets a few minutes ago, so they just may be on their way...
Michigan scored 48 runs in 5 games!
...and their team ERA of 6 plus was MIA!!
Need muppets!!!!
The Muppets have just arrived!
What a great team effort!!
There were some aggressive, beautiful calls made by the coaching staff to help manufacture runs…super impressive, and fun to watch.
They scored three runs on two squeeze plays in the championship game. Great stuff!
Go Blue!!! Fire Bakich!!!
FIRE BAKICH! He'll never amount to much! Woohoo!!!
I'm positive this is bangin'!
Hell Yeah!! Go Blue
Yes!!!!
If you count men's and women's sports as different sports, there are 28 Big Ten sports. Michigan won championships in 10 of them this school year. We won championships in more than a third of all sports.
Michigan State won championships in zero sports.
Joey Velazquez won Big Ten Championships in baseball and football.
Lets get Joey on more teams - all he does is win championships!
And then there's the Wolfpack...
That's impressive. You've got to work really hard to be such a bad administration.
Here's proof, directly from the Big Ten website:
I think it’s 13 this year.
Meh. I’d still sign her.
... and the form was so good... right up to that last bit.
Just got a little tastier!!!!
