Funny, the two notifications I have are this and the sponsor saying he's in.
I'll try to get one out tomorrow. Collecting data on NWern tix. SMU will be cheap. Already under face.

If you need a data point, I bought 4 tix in Section 1 in the low 60s for ~$60 each for SMU. Probably overpaid a bit but bringing the kids and I'm neurotic. Sat in similar seats for the Game in 2013 for less than 2x the price.

Do you know face value amount for a Section 1 ticket? $60 seems very low to me but I’m not in a position to know. Also, how did you buy those tics?

Other data point... bought 4 seats together row 15 in a corner for $45 a week ago (but it’s StubHub so those ended up nearly $60 with fees)
StubHub nominal prices right now are extremely cheap for 2 together, under $20 for end zones. Cheapest 4 together are ~$30.
Probably one of those games you can scalp for super cheap if you’re in the area anyway. Or if you ever wanted to see a game from the front rows, it’s a reasonable splurge

Thanks Seth! I know how busy you all are. I'll be attending with friends and we were curious about buying. Was thinking sooner rather than later but wanted to activate the bat signal for confirmation. Thanks a ton!
Edit: Thanks REDHotandBlue, thats about what I've found if we want to sit together, less if we buy in pairs. Prices haven't really changed much so I was curious, doesn't make much difference I suppose.

Also if mgoBBQ is gone then may I suggest an mgoPizzaRolls series sponsored by me, skypanther, mfan1984, mineral king, and Shea Patterson

I'm seeing that decent tickets for Northwestern are still $150-200. Anybody expect them to drop at all or should I just pick them up now?
With both teams having easier games before they meet up, my first inclination is that tickets may even rise a bit more?

You can probably wait til the morning of and get them under 100 each.

The general rule of ticket watch seems to be “wait as long as you’re comfortable, unless there’s some reason the game would become more desirable”.
Given NWs loss to Duke, guessing additional losses would be more likely to drive the price down.

I was waiting for ticket watch also. Ended up just buying tix to the Maryland game anyway. Didn't want to risk the price going up. Got 2 tix in Section 11, row 13 for ~$80/each.

I know you take a lot of shit over Draftegeddon (and it's warranted) but this, FWIW, is probably my second favorite non-Brian feature behind only opponent watch.
This really is helpful for those of buying individual tickets on the secondary market. Thanks Seth.

The thing about Ticket Watch is I have to collect a TON of data in order to be confident in knowing what I'm talking about, even if the article is pretty short at the end. Once I've got it going it's not hard to keep up, but I'm playing catchup still.

What's the cheapest people think this weekends game will get? My 9 year old daughter really wants to go the game, but I don't really have any extra money right now (I'm a full time student and a stay at home dad). It's hard because I have to drive all the way from Grand Rapids to get there, ad in parking, food, etc and it's just too much for me right now

There will be lots of tickets being sold around the stadium before the game. The closer you wait to game time the cheaper they will be. If you are just looking to get in the stadium to share the experience with you daughter, I would wait and just buy them from someone selling. I wouldn't be surprised if you could pick them up for $15-20 each. Just make sure they are not Student tickets. Enjoy the game.

Got 2 for $75 ea, sec 44 row 7. Stub hub fees are bitch though. Still great tickets for the price and will be a beautiful day.
