Mel Tucker target of sexual harassment case.

The revelation that he harassed Brenda god damned Tracy makes it less surprising they did so.

Initially denying a FOIA request that implicates employee privacy in the context of an early investigation into sexual harassment allegations is a no-brainer. MSU’s attorneys are no doubt advising them to buy themselves time and make people file a lawsuit before turning over any sensitive information. Turning over information hastily or improperly would create its own risks.

I regularly litigate high profile FOIA claims on behalf of Michigan public entities and yikes no idea what they were thinking.

Brenda Tracy, a prominent rape survivor and activist, says Mel Tucker made sexual comments and masturbated without consent during a phone call.

He says that when he finishes

Tucker flew to Florida on MSU business using a “donor’s private plane.” He engaged in phone sex during this trip and lied about it by saying the call happened in East Lansing, allegedly. 
More tinfoil: was it Ishbia’s plane? Does he know about the investigation because he was asked about Tucker’s use of the plane? 

This is a really gross suggestion that diminishes the fact that a woman has filed a credible allegation here. This is not rivalry fodder. 

Which part is an attempt?

The allegation? It's from Brenda Tracy, look her up. 

That it's leaking now? Hard to say, this is from a while back. These things can't be sat on forever. And that it would be a "win one for the gipper" type rah-rah moment is not the most likely reason to drop this now. 

"According to her complaint, Tracy sat frozen for several minutes while Tucker made sexual comments about her and masturbated. His violation, she said, reopened 25-year-old wounds from her rape by four men – three Oregon State University football players and a high school recruit.

“The idea that someone could know me and say they understand my trauma but then re-inflict that trauma on me is so disgusting to me, it’s hard for me to even wrap my mind around it,” she told USA TODAY. “It’s like he sought me out just to betray me.”

Love that they use a picture of her with the Michigan players as some sort of proof of conspiracy when she (old school use of the word) literally has a picture on her site with all of the teams she has worked with.

Schedule is for a hearing to take place during the MSU bye week (10/5 and 10/6).  We'll see.

I would imagine he is put on "Red Lock" status for the foreseeable future.

According to USA Today, he told Ms. Tracy he was "more or less single." I assume she is going to take him for as much of what will be left of his millions as she can.
