What an absolute unit.

"what an absolute unit."
THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID!

If Mel Tucker is reading this he can get some ideas on what to name his Only Fans page.
September 11th, 2023 at 12:32 PM ^
There was a play late in that game where he ole'd the center like a great bullfighter. Dude fell flat on his face and Graham hopped back into the gap behind him and stuffed the run.

oh yes jerry.

I would like to add that Kenneth Grant is officially a problem out there! How does a man that big move like that I have no idea but he is going to be breaking things all year. I, for one, plan on sitting back and enjoying the show.
September 11th, 2023 at 11:41 AM ^
I swear I could hear their QB yelling "blow the whistle" on near every play.
I'm nicknaming him "Kenworth" Grant - like the semi-truck brand.
September 11th, 2023 at 12:46 PM ^
That is a fantastic nickname!
September 11th, 2023 at 11:57 AM ^
Yeah, Grant made his presence known in that game. It's pretty clear why Harbaugh called him God's gift to football...
September 11th, 2023 at 12:33 PM ^
I really wonder if Harbaugh looked at Jordan Davis in the Orange Bowl Semi-Final and said to himself "If I want to win it all I HAVE to get me one of those dudes."
It was the same questions about Jordan Davis. How does a man that big move as quickly as he does?

I'm old enough to remember when the members of this board would have committed [definitely not crimes] just to have one DT on the roster as good as Rayshaun Benny, who is both a good player and definitively our fourth-best DT
September 11th, 2023 at 11:38 AM ^
Peeps could've been born 3 years ago and they'd know damn well we were banging the table to keep Benny away from MSU.
September 11th, 2023 at 11:40 AM ^
Yeah, this is meant as praise of Benny! The point is we suddenly have a wealth of great DTs. Which is a huge improvement on the recent past. I am very grateful to all of them for choosing Michigan and putting in the work to become what they are
September 11th, 2023 at 12:23 PM ^
I got that. The DT room is deep and ferocious. When you collapse the interior of an o-line the play never has a chance to develop much less succeed: backs get stuffed; quarterbacks run for their lives. Watching our DTs abuse the Runnin' Tarkanians reminded me of a classic Mike Tyson line: "How dare they challenge me with their somewhat primitive skills. They're just as good as dead..."
September 11th, 2023 at 1:48 PM ^
We're on the same page for sure, I trust that Benny will be a beast next year (could be one now but look at that DEPTH!).

RR's current team

A WR from Army..

Truly, we live in an age of wonders.
September 11th, 2023 at 12:28 PM ^
that stuck out to me too. If he caught 2 receptions in a game that would deserve PotW.
September 11th, 2023 at 2:32 PM ^
He had 3 catches for 135 and 2 scores. Long of 70 yards. Last week he had 3 catches for 47 yards, long of 20.
3 more catches on the year, and he'll break their season record.
September 11th, 2023 at 11:41 AM ^
I believe it

Lineman U!!
September 11th, 2023 at 11:51 AM ^
Just to put things in perspective. 94.0 is an insanely high score for them.
September 11th, 2023 at 12:07 PM ^
Given JJ‘s game Saturday the idea that he graded higher is mind blowing.
September 11th, 2023 at 12:09 PM ^
I think On3 messed up their graphic actually.
September 11th, 2023 at 12:14 PM ^
Surprised at that Hinton number. He looked just as bad this week as last.
September 11th, 2023 at 1:11 PM ^
PFF cannot grade OL correctly. You have to read the OL grades as a unit and somehow include the RB and QB play in there too. Good luck, or best to wait till ~Thursday and see what our Brain says.
September 11th, 2023 at 8:11 PM ^
Yeah Grant is nowhere near top 5. And 2 or three other names need to be swapped out.
September 11th, 2023 at 12:13 PM ^
That was my thought. JJ was damn near perfect.
September 11th, 2023 at 11:59 AM ^
Surprised Staes did not play for Staee
September 11th, 2023 at 1:12 PM ^
I hear he is actually suing Staee for NIL infringement...
September 11th, 2023 at 12:28 PM ^
You’re all welcome. My Mason Graham jersey is already a solid return on good karma. Sure all the kids with their Mcarthy and Corum jerseys look way more hip. But paying homage to a slab of beef wrecking ball is where all the AARP card holders wanna be.
September 11th, 2023 at 12:33 PM ^
I'm buying a Kenneth Grant jersey. My wife and I can fit into it together. Save on a second jersey.

Coach Minter addressed the UM club A2 today. He was asked about PFF in general. Long story short it's just a tool and not always accurate or used internally to grade player performances.
Resting the recovering secondary starters and giving others the opportunity to show what they have along with who will be the 4th,5th. 6th LBs is about the only thing to check out.
September 11th, 2023 at 4:47 PM ^
Graham and Grant may end up being the reason we 3 peat against the Nuts and possibly win the NC given how far they have exceeded their recruitment rankings. They are both playing like 5 stars, and let's hope it continues into the meat of the schedule.

2006 Branch, Taylor, and Johnson. 2016 Hurst, Glasgow, Godin, Mone. This years group has a shot to be the best interior since 97.
