M makes a couple more top lists for 4-stars
Michigan made a couple more top groups today for 4-star athletes in the 2021 class.
The first is Baltimore (MD) St. Frances linebacker Aaron Willis (#9 OLB, #110 overall), who named Michigan to his top 7 (LINK). Yes, that's the same school as Blake Corum, Osman Savage, and Nikhai Hill-Green from the 2020 class. This is a pretty significant development, because Willis had previously left Michigan out of his top group.
The second is Baltimore (MD) Mount St. Joseph wide receiver Dont'e Thornton (#6 WR, #47 overall). Three of his four crystal ball picks are for Penn State (LINK).

I agree, and think his site is the best for M football content
Gracias! I'm still trying to churn out football content at TTB during quarantine to keep everyone (including me) distracted.
Thanks!
I thought we only recruited three stars out of the Northeast?
Is Baltimore really the "Northeast", though? I mean, the Mason Dixon Line runs through Maryland! I'd say it's East Coast, but not necessarily either Northeast or Southeast. Baltimore is a no-man's land.
Which actually fits it pretty well...
I’ve heard Baltimore describes as the most south northern city, and the most north southern city.
Mid-Atlantic if you want to go big, DMV if you want to go smaller. Neither should be confused with the Northeast
Thornton’s crystal balls are also really old. He was previously committed to PSU but decommitted in August last year. Since then he’s had one crystal ball from Wiltfong which I’m assuming is the one undecided crystal ball (VIP locked so can’t confirm).
Yes, Wiltfong is the one undecided.
Is that the guy with the old balls?
i miss when I was young enough for Adam Sandler movies to make me laugh

Honestly Magnus, you’re the only reason I’ve been coming to this board the last few weeks. Thanks for all the info and insight you share.
i agree --why don't you just go to his site i am sure he would love the traffic and love it even more if you buy something thru amazon on the site to help support him--- touch-the-banner.com
Uh-oh. That's a lot of pressure to keep the content coming. But thanks.
I realize a lot of people are down on the recruiting lately, and I guess I am too somewhat, but they're doing enough right to be making the first cut with a lot of good players. That's something to be positive about.
I'm honestly curious what is appealing at Penn St for WRs. Like the reason they were appealing at one time is BECAUSE OF JOSH GATTIS and now he's at Michigan. If I had to guess Snake Oil James Franklin is pitching recruits on everyone that Gattis developed lol
Gattis was a position coach at PSU. He wasn’t developing anything.
Gattis was their WR coach and was developing their WRs. That was the entire point of the post you criticized.
Did you not know that or you just throwing out random crap because the mood on the board is too positive?
Good point. I actually misread it as “everything” not “everyone.”
I know he was selling being the first black coach to win a natty for a while.
Also, JF was the reason Allen Robinson went to PSU not JG, but speedy eaglet was recruited by JG as well as Godwin.
Cheers
I get it to an extent, but Allen Robinson, DaeSean Hamilton, and Chris Godwin are better examples for PSU than what Michigan has in the NFL right now. Add in the hype around KJ Hamler, who's entering the league this year, and that's a decent recruiting pitch.
Yeah, it's not like Harbaugh's version of a pro passing attack (read: Pep) helped make anyone look good...
Jehu Chesson and Amara Darboh looked pretty good.
So did Andrew Luck, but you need to keep producing results.
