The story doesn't make sense.

I'd toss that up to us not having the complete story before resorting to conclusion that the woman INVITED two rapes.  And THEN should be jailed three years.

This is where it's okay to use "according to her story" or "allegedly" and it's not a joke like too many people were making at the beginning of this thread.

It sucks that it was joked about so much in the first few posts that some folks may feel like it's not needed when speaking seriously on the subject.

The article says she was drugged and didn't know about the first assault (until pics emerged) and she passed out and woke up midway through the second one. If the allegations are true, these guys (there are two players named in the article) not only raped her, they drugged her first and then they photographed it and sent the pics. That's really depraved behavior and I hope they go to jail forever.

I don't think he's so much blaming her for her being assaulted as he is curious as to why this woman would ever voluntarily choose to come within 500 ft of this guy again. Much less go drink and party with him again.

Don't get me wrong: it's horrible what happened, but if this happens and then she decides to meet up with him again, then she has displayed some extremely poor common sense. In fact, she displays no common sense at all.

Just because she was raped does not mean she is all of a sudden immune to all forms of criticism. The man that did this to her, if true, is among the lowest forms of life walking this Earth, but she has her own problems too.

In the second case, she was at a party, he showed up at it. Is she to not be a college student and do what college students do? Nowhere in the article does it say she went there with him or knew he'd be there. She may be idiotic in her choices--I'd be disappointed in her thought process if she were my child--but the decision to rape is 100% on the guy. A girl can look like Gisele, wear a bikini to an Alaskan winter party, yet no dude has the right to drug her and then rape her.
