Larry Prout Jr. Having 100th Surgery Today

Submitted by BursleyHall82 on

The toughest member of our football team, Larry Prout Jr., is having his 100th surgery today at Mott Children's Hospital. I know that his family looks at MGoBlog, so let's send him some notes of encouragement.

If you're on Twitter, you can also tweet at Larry at @coobles321. There's a special hashtag for today - #Larry100victories

You're an inspiration to us all, Larry! Thanks for showing us how to attack something with an Enthusiasm Unknown to Mankind!

Keep on going, Larry!  You and your family are an inspiration for fighting through tough times and help put into perspective the petty issues we sometimes get distracted by.  My thoughts & prayers are headed your way and Go Blue!

Larry can be a member of my team any day.

Hate that this young man has had to endure so much in his young life, but admire how he continues to face his challenges in ways I don't fully understand.

Best wishes to Larry, his family and entire support system.  I will hope and pray for a completely successful 100th surgery.  Hard to even type that out....

Go Larry and Go Blue!

Using a line from Coach Harbaugh, Larry is tougher than a 2 dollar steak.

You are an inspiration Larry!  Hope you have a speedy recovery!

I will be 49 in a couple of days, and have had 5 surgeries total. They arent as intrusive these days with main body cavity. My gall bladder was a cake walk vs being cut wide open to have part of bad intestine removed 20 yrs ago.

Even if they all were easy surgeries, going under that many times has to be taking its toll. I know that I wouldnt make it 100 times. Best wishes to em. Takes a real trooper to go thru all that. Here is to a fast recovery.
