Kwity Paye moving on to prep for NFL Draft
No surprise here. Best of luck to Kwity, likely 1st Round pick.

Best of luck Kwity.

Good luck, young man. Thank you for staying and giving it your best this year.
All the best to him.

Good luck and thanks to Kwitty. Congrats to him for a great career and developing into an excellent player. Wish the 2020 season would have worked out better for him, but will always be a fan and follow his career.

Congratulations to Kwity Paye, may all his dreams and goals come true! I'll be rooting for his success as much or more than any Michigan player of the last few years.

I’m with you, Rob. What an incredible story, and what an excellent work ethic. Somebody’s getting themselves an extremely high-floor player.
December 18th, 2020 at 6:39 PM ^
Good luck.

Class act all the way. Wish him the best and will follow him at the next level.

Jalen Mayfield just announced on his Instagram that he will be leaving as well. He is signing with CAA Sports. Kwity will also be signing with CAA Sports actually.
Best of luck to the both of them in the NFL!

It would be nice if some of these guys would stay instead of always bolting for the NFL as soon as they are eligible. O-lie-O gets guys to stay, especially with positions in need. Where is the pride?? Your team needs you. Taylor Lewan stayed. "But the money! bla bla bla"

Just be happy they tried to help out the trainwreck of a team this season. They got hurt helping the team when they could have just trained for the draft. OSU probably has more early entries than the whole rest of the B1G East every season.

I know nothing of Kwity's personal situation (nor do I really care), but some of these guys come from pretty impoverished backgrounds. Even if that isn't the case, you really want them to turn down millions so you can enjoy watching your team more? Seems pretty selfish.
December 18th, 2020 at 7:34 PM ^
Look up the segment Gameday did on him this season.
December 18th, 2020 at 7:10 PM ^
Paye played 4 years. He could've left after last year but came back for his senior season. If not for the COVID exception, he wouldn't even be eligible for another year. He's a projected 1st or 2nd round pick. Why would he not be going to the NFL to see his dreams come true?
December 18th, 2020 at 7:16 PM ^
Best of luck to him! This man played this year and put his future on the line to try and help out the 2020 team. I think he’s more than proved his selflessness and that he cares about Michigan. Thanks Kwity and good luck!

There’s always at least one dumb post of this nature.
Good luck, Kwity.

I’m sure you would stick around to play for this clown show when there’s millions of dollars at stake. Maybe try being glad for the kid for getting a chance to pursue his dreams and thank him for his hard work, rather than acting like a whiny bitch.
Dude played here for 4 years, but it’s not enough for tough guys like you. What a joke.
And way to use possibly our least likable big-time football alum as an example - you must be a real treat to be around.

Football players, many of whom come from poor backgrounds, should stay and play for free -- for your entertainment -- rather than make a living while they still can. What a great and generous person you must be.

This isn't a case of a player "bolting for the NFL as soon as they are eligible." Paye stayed 4 years and graduated, even though he could have left after last season. And OSU loses most of their top players after 3 years, or as soon as they are eligible for the draft. Awful take.

His family story is incredible and I hope he wrecks shop in the NFL and makes eleventy billion dollars. He deserves it.
December 18th, 2020 at 7:24 PM ^
Good luck Kwity. Thanks for all you did at UM
December 18th, 2020 at 7:35 PM ^
Being an old fart I frequently grumble inwardly about talented guys leaving before their eligibility is exhausted, but not in Kwity's case. Go make some big money—he's more than earned that opportunity.
December 18th, 2020 at 7:41 PM ^
Best of luck, my friend. You gave this program more than it deserved by coming back this season. Go make your millions. You earned every penny of them.
December 18th, 2020 at 7:41 PM ^
I hope he makes so much money that his mom never has to work a day the rest of her life
December 18th, 2020 at 8:06 PM ^
Best of luck, hope he does big things.
December 18th, 2020 at 8:15 PM ^
Good luck.
Wish he would have returned and helped us win.
Go Blue.
December 19th, 2020 at 7:14 AM ^
You mean like how he returned this season when he had every right to move on after last season?
Yeah, what a selfish guy......
December 18th, 2020 at 8:57 PM ^
I'd like to extend Kwity a hearty well done, and thanks! What a great player he turned out to be - some NFL team is going to get a clubhouse leader and one helluva player!
You know who else deserves a 'well done', and some thanks? Don Brown - because he dragged Kwity out of New England before anyone else even knew guys in New England played football. That was a fantastic find, right there! Thanks Don, for bringing Kwity to us!

Time to Kwity and get Payed
December 18th, 2020 at 9:57 PM ^
One thing we’ve had under Harbaugh is incredible DE combos:
Wormley & Taco
Chase & Gary
Paye & Hutch
All Mattison recruits however so sadly I’m not sure that trend continues. We have some good young guys, but that trio of duos had potentially 4 first rounders. And that doesn’t even include Chase who already has made an impact in the league
December 18th, 2020 at 10:26 PM ^
Kwity was recruited by Don Brown. Not that it matters, since Brown is almost certainly a dead man walking.
December 18th, 2020 at 10:15 PM ^
Thanks Kwity! I love when the diamonds in the rough make it.
December 18th, 2020 at 11:27 PM ^
Hoping Kwity gets Payed.
December 19th, 2020 at 1:01 AM ^
Good luck young man. Everyone here hopes you crush it in the pros, for you and your mom. Be sure to put a hurting on every buckeye you cross paths with.

Gave us 4 solid years of hard work and it paid off for him too. Best of luck in the NFL sir
